IMHO AAS or TRT or whatever should be 110% allowed as a treatment for body dysmorphia. a transvestite has access to hormones and surgical options to modify their appearance how they desire yet AAS is illegal for personal use. seems like a double standard to me lol

not disagreeing, but the average American couldn’t tell you the difference between a bicep and a tricep let alone a lat or a delt. their perception of strong or in shape is formed more by their subconscious than someone that is anatomically aware. the general movie audience could look at arnold and ronnie coleman and they are the “same size” as chris hemsworth because in their mind all they see is abs and face.
I don’t understand why I would be interested in the thought process of the average American.

hemsworth had a shit physique prior, cavill was average, and brad pitt wasn’t even big. and all of the above used AAS and the best hollywood trainers to get to their movie physique for the role. them obtaining the role had nothing to do with their physique or they would have gotten the role. facially cavill looks like superman, and hemsworth looks like thor. and during the troy era pitt gott the role because he was brad pitt.
not saying to be, just stating their skewed ideas of “big” vs what is actually big. it seems like they have reverse body dysmorphia where the standard to be big is set almost too low xD

I’ll tell you, in the face, I don’t look all that much like Chris Hemsworth. But I am fairly muscular with long darker blond hair. I get someone saying I look like Thor on a weekly basis. People get that connection in their mind because of my body.
They tend to have skewed views of pretty much every subject. It’s what makes them average.

wasn’t trying to start an argument what I was trying to say is
-standards for being big are low
-avg american places as much value in the face as the body for strength perceptions whether conscious or subconscious
-the actors had attractive faces that got the role then their physique got up to speed
-a person with a good face and an ok physique will always look better than someone with an ugly face and good physique
-nobody wants to watch a movie with a gymcel protagonist
lol i wish i get told i looked like thor. the best compliment i ever got was that i look like a ripped version of bubbles from trailer park boys. specifically changed my classes and grew a beard to undo that xD

Now if we pair these physiques with the faces, I am not sure who wins. Ugly face (say Steve Buscemi’s face) on Chris Hemsworth’s 6’3" body, vs a 5’2" fat man with Chris Hemsworth’s face. Who wins here?
