Ultimate Warrior on Chris Benoit

This is a little old but I think The Ultimate Warrior did a good job getting his point across on Fox News of all places.

Unfortunately this argument will never be won. Here’s why. It always plays out like this.

Critic: Steroids cause Roid Rage. Roid Rage causes Double-Murder Suicides.

Steroid User: No. Steroids don’t cause either of those.

Critic: Well look at you. You’re in a rage just because I’ve told you this.

Steroid User (now visibly irritated): I’m not enraged. I’m irritated because I can’t communicate with you.

Critic: Run! He can’t catch us with those bulky muscles!

I think wrestling is a bit ridiculous but, when they interviewed warrior and Nash about the incident they made good points about the steroid angle being overplayed, the difference between use and abuse, and that other drugs could have been involved.

He made a great point about the old-school bodybuilders who used steroids who are still doing well today.

I think he really summed up every argument thats ever been had on these news shows:

“You have absolutely no authority to make that judgement”

Man, that guy isn’t interviewing Warrior. It’s not even a debate. He conducted in under the philosophical assumption that steroids are innately bads, which is completely false. Unfortunately, majority of the population has its consciousness as a slave under that assumption.

Fox News always drives me nuts. Can’t they let the guy finish even one sentence? I like how Warrior’s expression says F you when that arrogant presenter throws that stupid joke in the end.

Yeah. No matter what the issue is, it never gets resolved because Fox wants to save on time and move to the next issue before an organized discussion even starts.

Yeah, what the hell? I’m going to ask you a question, disagree with whatever you say before you even have the chance to say it because I interrupt you by asking you another question. Repeat. That was the most horseshit example of an “interview” I have ever seen.

The sad part is that they do it every single day.

Watching that “interview” gave me roid rage.

what kind, hema?

Good grief.

I guess that kinda sums up Fox “news” really. Sensationalist crap.

I was just curious was valium, alcohol, or any other drugs involved. I would think they would contribute alot more to that kind of action, or did the fact of them blowing the whole steroid thing out of porportion shadow everything else.

It had nothing to do with the other drugs come on it was all the 'roids. Didn’t you see Up the Down Staircase? Nope the valium, the coke, the alcohol and the fact that when examined his brain was the same as an 89yr old althemimers(sp) patient with calcium deposits in it.
