With reference to your Ugly Ab training article, i was just curious if you could use Upright Sled Drags holding the straps over your shoulders as a loaded carry to build resiliency?
I actually used that in 2006 when I was still competing in bodybuilding. I was using a lot of sled work athletes and it seemed like a good idea. It does work if you it right, keeping your abs tight and arms slightly in front, imagine doing a hollow rock position. Otherwise the shoulder does most of the work.
Thank you for your reply. How many sets do you recommend for the overload work such as Zercher Holds and Overhead Supports?
I asked him the same question on Twitter and he said ā4-5 setsā.
