UFO'S

If we survive 2012 sometime in 2028 the earth is going to be struck by an asteroid approx. 1 mile wide. I hope not to be near the impact site.

Have a good Friday.

Ok, ok, I fess up, on one of these trips to the boonies, I encountered a disabled craft and communicated with an alien (no anal probes involved NTTATWWT). It said their actually taking us out on 1/30/09 out of sheer disappointment in us as a species… Shit!!!

That’s tomorrow! Well, everyone have fun tonight and party like it’s the last night on earth, cuz it is.

P.S. If it turns out that alien was lying and is of the illegal variety (it was dark) see ya on the boards Monday.

Of course there are. Im just saying that alot seem to point towards the mayan calender.

Which is just further affirmation that 2012 will be the end of us all.

is that according to mayan or aztec calender?

I don’t know, I’ve never seen the Aztec calendar. I’m guessing they both lead up to a vague date in 2012, much like other religions/sects/ancient foresights. There’s just too much shit throughout time pointing to that date for something crazy NOT to go down.

its just curious to me how the Mayans were wise enough to predict the end of mankind but could not foresee/prepare for the coming of the Spanish. you can say they predicted Qutzecotal but theres a big difference between predicting some giant bird-snake-god and an Armada of gold hungry europeans.

so if we are to take anything from the Mayans serious it should be that they suck at predicting things, if they think 2012 is the end of the world its more likely going to be something good.

also, how can these people predict the future but cant grasp written word to explain in detail more accurately what theyre talking about? to me, its kind of proposturous to believe that apocalypse b.s…

Didn’t they Mayans die out before the Spanish showed up?

Yea they are Aliens, but I’m not really sure if any of those UFO’s people describe were actually Aliens.

The Universe is too big to say there isnt life on another planet, its just stupid to say. But Intelligent life on another planet? I dont think there is intelligent life somewhere else in the universe.
so you think with the scale of the universe its possible there are living organisms but none superior to us…why?

you actually sound like youre contradicting yourself. if there is a possibility for life on other planets it means theres a possibility theres life smarter and more advanced than us.

All on separate occasions, my mother, grandparents, and my sister have all seen UFOs. My sister swears her and her friends saw one. Even my father had some old newspaper clippings from his childhood stashed about a “flying preacher” ufo from the 50s or 60’s in ohio but he wouldn’t admit that they were his.

He said his mom might have clipped them out and given them to him. I dunno. I’ve seen some crazy stuff one night at a party, but it wasn’t a ufo. Turned my shit upside down and now I don’t immediately dismiss what anybody claims to have seen.

Its impossible to even imagine how vast the universe is. Our solar system in itself is massive although it is classed as small. I don’t know how there couldn’t be other intelligent life although the universe is so big we would probably never find out anyway.

The chances are pretty slim. Intelligent life could exist in our own galaxy but it is about 8 billion square-light years in area which makes pinpointing it pretty difficult. The next closest galaxy is Andromeda and that is 4 million light years away.

The human species will have come and gone before any intelligent life would be capable of picking up EM from earth. But maybe we would be able to pick up signals from some distant life from a long time ago.

When I was a kid at my parent’s house I saw a craft, it was about 3AM in the morning. It looked like something out of a 50’s b-movie. The classic inverted bowl with a dome on top.

It sped from the northeast and instantly stopped about 200 feet from my house and hovered for about 1 second and a periscope device descended from it and looked in my direction, when it saw me, it vanished.

So as an 8 year old boy with no other witnesses, I have no proof of something I saw that was utterly in defiance of the reality we know.

All that technology, and they use a periscope?

No jokes about anal probes please.

Also why is it that only America has all these sighting’s?
Whats wrong with Asia and Europe?
Perhaps you should ask “What’s wrong with the USA” if they’re the one s seing things.

Yes, that’s something that I wonder about too, it’s like the thing used WW2 technology with its observation equipment, but it used Star Trek technology in its propulsion technology.

I actually had a grey alien visit me while I was sleeping. That freaked me out quite a bit.

Absolutely true, the Universe is just HYYUUGEEE.

The radio waves we send out in search of Aliens hasnt even traveled through 1/2 our galaxy yet, even less distance than that probably. So yea, our chance of finding other intelligent life is probably impossible.

People always watch some show about it on the history channel, remember half of it, then tell everyone that the world is going to end in a few years. There was a lot of this in the 2012 thread.
