And it begins again.

I get my balls busted all the time for posting partisan propaganda , While I think the subject of the UAW wanting to increase the earning potential of their members , I think the article is a hack job and very biased

Permit me a question Mr Strope , does the Z stand for ZEB in any fashion ?

Yeah I don’t really care about the bias in the article. The underlying fact is they are going to request more money. That’s the point I pull from it. I read about 3 different articles from different Newspapers, I just happened to post this one.

Is this one more to your liking?

Not sure what ZEB is referencing at all, so no. It stands for the initial of my first name.

ZJ isn’t Zeb lol. ZEB was a one of a kind tool.

The Unions (mostly the exorbitant pensions) made the U.S. auto industry’s dominance unsustainable.

And here we go again.

Part of the problem for sure. However the fact Japanese cars were of better quality didn’t help either.

I’ll buy a HOnda or Toyota (car not truck) any day of the week, even if I’m paying more.

Don’t buy a Mazda, fuck Mazda.

toyota’s quality is going down. Ford, Chrysler, and GM is going up. I love my Hyundai, and will probably buy another.

I’m buying a Jeep Wrangler next, I don’t really care what anyone says either. You could tell me the engine will explode after 2 weeks and I’m still buying the “Willy” when it comes out.

buy the jeep especially if you get that land you want.

Wrangler and maybe the Dodge Ram would be the only 2 Chrysler vehicles I’d buy.

I have a Chrysler 300c and the hemi is fucking AWESOME…but the fit and finish on the interior just do not compare to german and asian automakers.

I love the wranglers, I’ve never met a wrangler owner that doesn’t like them. I had a Ram 1500 (2003) for a while. They’re nice, the stupid wiring in the windows always goes though and the dash cracks. Both problems seem to be universal too.

We have a Mazda 3 (my wife’s car) that thing is a piece of shit. We bought it in 2010 and it’s been one headache after another. I’m constantly replacing headlights for example. And it’s the only car I’ve every seen that needs the air in the tires filled every other month, like wtf is that?

I do like the 300.

For sure. I went with an Infiniti G37… pretty BA car. Interior finish is really important to me since that’s where you spend most of your time.

That’s the biggest problem I have with most US cars. I find them not very comfortable and cheap.

As far mechanical quality, they are much more on par and exceed many foreign competitors.

I drove a Dodge Charger R/T and loved that car. Fun to drive, comfortable, and looks really good.

I am most likely going to buy the Hyundai Genesis 4 door, still debating if I wan the R-spec, the standard V-8, or the V-6. I am still open to other cars, because I need another 2-3 years on my 2007 Hyundai Azera that will become my daughter’s first car when she reaches 16. She is about to turn 13. Things can change really quick in the auto industry.

This is true. A lot of the U.S. auto industries issues were with the fact they were releasing lower quality products than their competition for a number of years. It looks as if that has started to change in recent years, but a lot of the wounds were self-inflicted.

and self-inflicted repeatedly, for long periods of time.
