War with China will never happen. There are too many economic implications or China to do something that stupid. More likely communism will be overthrown in China.

yeah but what about 50 years from now when they start getting other markets for their goods like india.
There’s this book called Unrestricted Warfare written by chinese military officers which is about how china can defeat the U.S. by building certain weapons etc. Now these authors are heroes in China and the military is specifically researching weapons mentioned in that book which it says can defeat the U.S.
Now I’m not a conspiracy nut or anything but this book mentions a lot of Bin Laden and also talks about attacking the world trade center through terrorism THREE YEARS BEFORE 9/11.
I don’t think that there will be a war anytime soon but there will be a war sometime this century. These guys know it and are preparing for it.
War with China would be suicide for them. First of all, India is our ally and so is Japan we have many military bases in those countries plus there armies. If ar with China did happen, Japan would expand there army to full capacity. India would also assist us. Your forgetting probably one of the most obvious points that while China has more people than us, its not close to us by any means making a ground war for them a losing situation. China’s navy and airforce are no where near as good as our own. After we win, China the thriving economic station that it once was would be embargoed and sanctioned. BTW Russia is there too. China is just not in the position to do anything that stupid.

I don’t see why there WILL be a war or why it WILL be INEVITABLE.
However, with America borrowing itself into a hole to finance wars in Afghanistan, Iraq, and possibly Iran, fifty years from now we may have an America suffering social and economic collapse, leaving NATO weakened relative to China.
On the other hand, historically China has only ever been concerned with protecting the Chinese homeland. Even today they only have 20 nuclear missiles as a defensive precaution. With the US talk about a missile shield capable of blocking 20 missiles, China shot back that if that’s the case it plans to build another 20 to maintain the balance.
They aren’t the USSR hellbent on global domination. If that were the case, why would they have free-trade zones and allow McDonalds and Wal-Mart in Shanghai?
