U.S. Ambassador to Libya Killed

Why is Al Jazeera so bad Mr. Push? Is it because it challenges your biased and ill-conceived notions of the International System?
Are you some kind of idiot? Al Jazeera is owned by the Qatari government. Qatar is now one of the leading exporters of Wahhabism and home to the Taliban embassy. After the 911 attacks Al Jazeera reported that Jews were given advanced warning not to attend work. They’re a fucking Salafist propaganda channel you goose.

Whew!

When I saw that you’d posted, I thought maybe you took my ridiculous comments to him seriously. Ha ha.
Ridiculous? I was waiting to hear what the “International System” is and how push’s views on it are “ill-conceived” and “biased.” Unlike Al Jazeera of course.

Video footage from the United States consulate in Benghazi, Libya, taken the night of the Sept. 11 anniversary attacks, shows an organized group of armed men attacking the compound, according to two U.S. intelligence officials who have seen the footage and are involved in the ongoing investigation. The footage, which was recovered from the site last week by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, offers some of the most tangible evidence yet that a military-style assault took place, according to these officials…

The Daily Beast first reported that the intelligence behind the initial public assessment that the attack was a spontaneous reaction to an anti-Islam film was based in part on a single intercept between one of the attackers and a middle manager in al Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb, the group?s North African affiliate. In the call, the alleged attacker said the locals went forward with the attack only after watching the riots that same day at the U.S. embassy in Cairo. But that intercept was one of many that suggested an al Qaeda link to the attack, none of which were mentioned in the initial eight days…

…At the same time, there was evidence that countered this assessment. An initial investigation by congressional Republicans alleged that the families of local Libyans serving for a contractor to provide security at the consulate were urged in the days before the attack to have the guards not show up to work on Sept. 11. U.S. intelligence officers also knew of four suspects within 24 hours of the attack that had links to Ansar al-Sharia, a local jihadist organization with some ties to al Qaeda?s regional affiliate for north Africa…
The video footage also supports the accounts of four diplomatic-security officers who were at the Benghazi compound and who initially responded to the attack. On Sept. 17, these officers told State Department investigators in formal briefings that there was no spontaneous protest the night of the attack, U.S. officials tell The Daily Beast. This information was what led the State Department to conclude there was no protest at the consulate on the day of the attacks, according to these officials.

Nonetheless, White House spokesman Jay Carney continued to say until Sept. 20 that the Benghazi assault resulted from a protest over the Internet film…
will be biggest coverup since watergate. media wont even mention the lies and coverup from bama and friends…sickening…

I think the CIA, or State Dept were running guns trying to track them a-la F&F… And the guns that killed American’s, were American weapons.

That is a good piece. Even hammers the NYT for being a shithouse rag lap dog house.

I told my step-father, who is a total lefty, that if he honestly believed that a video caused all this, he was a fucking moron. At 58 years old, he looked at me, and I watched as reason washed over his face, and he changed the subject. He refuses to support a republican, even if Bruce Springsteen ran on the ticket himself.

Glen Doherty was working as a contractor to locate and destroy MANPADS. I think they’ve got enough to worry about with tracking the Libyan’s arsenal and what was provided to the rebels during the war. Suffice to say everything about Libya is completely fucked up.

What is a MANPADS?

Also, Hilary taking the fall. Hillary Falls On Her Sword Over Benghazi

So… Now on to why they lied about it. Now that we know who fucked up.

I mean, the security thing is just a very unfortunate mistake. A mistake that cost lives. A mistake with a enough of a hint of neglect that will allow Hilary to step down, and start repairing her image for 2016, and not having to take the blame for any of the other massive foreign policy fuck ups that are abound to show up sooner or later.

But what are they covering up that is so devastating? Why would they blame it on a video that had been on the internet for months? Why that video? And how convenient the film maker is being questioned and detained…

Well, if you’re an incumbent President, with a narrative about a disintegrating Al Qaeda, you’re going to take a bigger ding from a pre-planned attack you might should’ve foreseen (and at least increased security) than from a more unpredictable event, like a spontaneous mob enraged by a video.

Now, with CNN’s intelligence sources telling them early on that this was a pre-planned attack, you have to wonder if CNN isn’t furiously digging for a smoking gun to back up their reporting.

Well, dish-gate turned out innocent enough. Sure glad there aren’t more serious questions up in the air, eating up valuable time needed to get to the bottom of potentially big scandals like this.

It’s a shoulder fired surface to air missile.

Honestly, I agree with you to some extent that there’s a cover up. There’s no real strategy for Libya, it’s 100% getting Gaddafi out of power while the opportunity was there. Now that he’s out of power you’ve the rebel forces turning on each other, the government is unstable, Al Qaeda is openly being supported there and the Libyan military facilities have lots of weapons that can end up in the wrong hands. If questions start getting asked about what’s going on over there then things like that will come to light. It’s a lot easier for them to blame it on something and try to ignore it than try to explain to the average American citizen that thousands of missiles in Libya are “missing”.

Holy shit, someone arrested for trying to detonate device outside Federal Reserve building today.

Oh?

I assume this was the video that sparked the random protest which lead to the violence, that may or may not be an attack, or maybe just one small brown skin man aggressively eating a hotdog.

EDIT:

Maybe this video caused it?
