But when questioned, Lamb denied that budgetary concerns had influenced her decision. committee â??It has been suggested that budget cuts are responsible for a lack of security in Benghazi, and Iâ??d like to ask Miss Lamb,â?? said Representative Dana Rohrabacher (R., California). â??You made this decision personally. Was there any budget consideration and lack of budget which lead you not to increase the number of people in the security force there?â??

â??No, sir,â?? said Lamb.

Excellent. I was linked from media matters to the CS piece.

I just needed one more bit of confirmation that media matters is, in fact, and even more liberal onion.

This story has been slow coming, and is going to be buried, deflected and ignored by the main stream media outside of daytime when everyone is at work.

At least The Onion is funny. Media matters is bullshit.

I just think its astounding that people are being killed and these scandals are just swept under the rug and largely ignored. There is absolutely no accountability anymore. These people act like gods.

Don’t worry. Next time a republican is in office, the press will suddenly be good at their jobs again.

This just in:

Debbie Washyourman’s Shorts is the most vile human being on the planet. Lying for the lie.

I bet she cries herself to sleep at night, after drowning herself in a bottle on wine.

The way you wrote that is incredibly misleading, and I like what you have to say most of the time Raj. Let’s try again, this time from a real news source.

Yemeni chief of security at the US embassy in Sanaa has been assassinated

Wait, since when is aljazeera of all sources considered “real”? I’ll openly admit Fox’s bias and I’d trust them a fuckload more than an aljazeera piece, even if they’re technically correct in the way they phrased it.

God forbid we get news about events in the Arab world from an organization that actually understands the Arab world right? Fox is more content with simple minded fear mongering than actual journalism.

By the way, pal, YOUR news source’s headline reads, “US embassy security chief killed in Yemen,” which means Raj’s description is more accurate than yours. Ahem.[/quote]

Really? Because “Us ambassador Security chief in Yemen assassinated” is almost nonsensical. I simply reworded it so someone looking at a glance would see it was not an American citizen that had been killed, God forbid a “Us ambassador Security chief.” Why is Al Jazeera so bad Mr. Push? Is it because it challenges your biased and ill-conceived notions of the International System?
