Number one- Tyson is not out of shape. If you knew anything about boxing and stayed current you would know that he is in as good as shape as he has ever been, and training like a crazy person. That is why the so called experts are starting to hedge their Lewis predictions. Number two- While he is older and certainly not in his prime, I assure you Lewis is scared to death of this maniac. Number three- If Tyson can catch up to the pussy speaking Englishman fairly early, while the fag is running and clinching, he will rip his head off, possibly literally. Number four- I’m sure after winning the title he will commence to getting into serious trouble again with the law!!! But, I still love to watch him!!! TYSON it is, TRUST ME!!!
Hopkins challenged Jones for the title but he keeps dodging the fight. Says he should get most of the money, but I think he is just scared of Hopkins. Klichko is pretty good but not in his prime yet. Lewis will prpbably beat him.
Barring any dq, I say Tyson will win, although I hate Lewis, so that may be a bit biased. Then after Tyson wins, they should return him to a cage where he’ll remain until his next fight.
And I don’t really see Roy Jones being scared. He’s asking for more money because he has already beat that guy once before(if it’s the guy I’m thinking of). He’s the best boxer in the world, I don’t think 60-40 is an unreasonable split.
Tyson has the advantage in speed…both hand and foot, he has the better chin (just ask Razor Rudduck), power is even…“ring generalship” goes to Lewis, KO punches goes to Tyson (he can knock you out with both hands and a variety of punches) whereas Lewis has the big right hand (straight and hook). Lewis is bigger and physically more stronger, but Tyson is far more e (ask holyfield). On paper Lewis SHOULD win but Tyson is super aggressive and I think he will catch Lewis sooner or later. Hits: We hear he’s pretty good in the movie Matrix II. Of course, that doesn’t mean much when you opt to fight Clinton Woods instead of Vassiliy Jirov, Bernard Hopkins or even Dariusz Michalczewski.
Misses: Picking Woods as his next opponent is like spitting in the face of the fans. He refuses to give the fans what they want and apparently doesn’t care about his legacy.
This came out of USA Today’s boxing news. Dariusz Michalczewski is 46-0 and in the same division. Jirov is a cruiserweight and there was talks of a fight between him and Jones, but Jones chose Clinton Woods instead, who isn’t even ranked in the top 10 in his division. Don’t get me wrong, I am a huge fan of Roy Jones Jr., but the greastest fighters always fight the best. Look at Ali, Oscar De la Hoya, and Holyfield(while he might not be one of the greatest, he still fought the best).
Just because Tyson was the best of the worst doesn’t mean he is any good. An extremely old Larry Holmes was the champion that Tyson beat. Not very impressive. Tyson has been ducking Lewis ever since Lewis beat Tyson in the amateurs.
Tyson is a fake. His image was created by the media and Don King. Watch a lot of Tyson’s older fights. A lot of the tomato cans that he fights are fat and old.
Isn’t Woods considered to be the #1 contender in the Lt. Heavies? Could that be the reason why Jones chose to fight him?
Another way to look at Tyson is that he's got a "punchers" chance(and I think Magnus already mentioned this), while Lewis' advantage is his jab. So, while Tyson is definitely the underdog in this match, I'm still hoping he can get "inside" and clock Lewis.
I agree, just imagine if Tyson wins. He will be a fucking legend then. Is that what we want? You’re right, Woods is ranked #1 by some boxing organizations, but those certain organizations don’t list Michalczewski and in some rankings he is #5 or lower.

Lewis has the boxing skills, but to those of you who say tyson doees not have a chance, two words HASIM RAHMAN. As far as Roy Jones jr is concerned, He is not ducking anyone. Hopkins and Jirov are in different weight classes, Middle weight(been there, done that and beat Hopkins) and cruiserweight. Jones can't decide which way to go.As far as Darius will only fight in Germany. Jones has 3 of the 4 belts, so he should have the say as to where the fight happens, not Darius. Its a pride thing, stupid but thats what is happening. Personally, if i was Jones, I would go to Germany give Darius a beating in front of his fans, but thatws just me. Tyson is no more than a once was/has been. Now he is just a blundering idiot that talks a load of crap. His freak show tactics are never ending and he will eventually self destruct (and die). There is really no possible way for him to win this fight.

Like many Canadians, I hate Lewis because after his olypic success and just as he was turning pro, he left Canada and became a British citizen. He even adopted a goofy fake british accent. He trained in Kitchener, ont. at the police association boxing club wher many great Canadian fighters have come out of. But he has turned his back on what he learned and accomplished there and feels he will get more recognition as a British citezen. BTW, concerning age advantage, the May 20 issue of Sports illustrated lists both Tyson and Lewis as being 36 yrs of age.

You are incorrect. Tyson paid Lewis not to fight him. It was reported on a boxing show. Tyson has been ducking Lewis for years. Lewis is a better boxer then Tyson could ever dream of being. Tyson is a chump who doesn’t even deserve a title shot. The only reason Lewis got knocked out by Rahman was because Lewis barely trained for the fight and didn’t take Rahman seriously. In the second fight Lewis destroyed Rahman. Since you are kickbox I thought you would know that a lesser fighter can always get lucky and beat a great fighter.
I think people dislike Lewis because they would rather see a brawl instead of a boxing match. I think the fact that Lewis is not American makes people not like him as well.
