Twilight Eclipse!
BrownTrout wrote:
The fact that someone thought it was ok to create a vampire vs. werewolf story after Underworld is just baffling. I think the only problem I had with underworld is how fucking skinny Corvin is. It made the scene where he rips Williams head off less than satisfying. Secondly, how the fuck did this vampire vs. werewolf genre spawn in the first place??
Zombies > (werewolves + vampires)

@ polo. I think you’ve developed a complex over the teenage werewolf boy being more jacked than you
I hope zombies fuck you in the bazing (bazing=butt) … so I hope you get prison raped by zombies

Twilight has infiltrated sports talk radio in DFW. WTH?
Best call-in comment though: “Twilight is quite similar to soccer; close to 2 hrs of running around and nobody ever scores, yet 1 billion fans will try to tell you that you just don’t understand.”

Blade FTW

I took the day off work yesterday to take care of some stuff at court. Since I got home so early my girl asked me if we can go see eclipse.

Must say, I’ve seen all 3 movies, and this one is probably the worst.

Spoiler Alert**

The entire movie leads up to this epic battle scene that is the highlight of the movie. An army of vampires vs a team of vampires and warewolves. Great potential there for a badass ending!! But of course they sugar it down, the battle is only showin in clips and isn’t that great and not one single good guy is killed??? WTF?!?!

Throughout the entire movie they were talking about this battle and how lives will be lost on both sides, and the girl in the movie is begging people not to fight because she knows someone’s going to get killed. Then in the end, not a single one of them gets killed and even another vampire makes the comment that she’s never seen such a great battle where no one was injured (or something to that extent).

What a load of watered down bullshit… They could have made this movie somewhat enjoyable for all the guys that are getting dragged to this movie by making a fkn kickass battle scene where somebody, somewhat important dies.

That pretty much sums up the characters in this movie/book series. Confused.

LOL!!! Great post.

I dont think any of the “good guys” died in the book (hence why no one died in the movie) Just the one wolf dude got fucked up but apperantly has super fast healing or something?

Come on Andrew there is NO WAY that this movie is worse than the first one. It would be hard for almost any movie to be worse than the first one.

this is one of the reasons on a looooong list of many reasons why Twilight is anti-literature. There is NOTHING compelling about it … it’s fucking pornography for lonely, pathetic women…

Fuck even Romeo and Juliet everyone died … Shakespeare knew his shit!

Now if I say it, I’m an asshole. When Polo says it, everyone loves him.

Wow, y’all love the movie around here. huh?

I know the book had nobody dying which is why the movie didn’t, but that solidifies the fact that both the movies and books are garbage. And I can tolerate and sometimes even enjoy some chick flicks that I watch with my girl, but this series and these books are just plain bad. How can you build up an epic battle and have the characters discuss on more than one occasion the fact that many lives will be lost in this horrific battle where they are outnumbered by a stronger enemy, and only one person is injured and none are killed? That is an extremely bad climax.

This one was worse then the first one because the first one wasn’t nearly as predictable as this one. Granted I fell asleep in the first one so it was a bit more boring, but this twilight was just plain bad.

Nobody loves Polo! He’s like a hemroid. Everyone is to embarrassed to mention him, but he’s a constant pain in the ass.

John Romanelli has a great blog post about the twilight series. Pretty darn funny.

Sound the only Black Twi-Hard known to man. You disappoint me, Ct. I can’t believe you like Twilight.

It’s worse simply because there are three of them made. That movie never should have been a sequel, let along a 3-pete.

There’s only one solution for this

3 More Underworlds

The next one doesn’t come out til next fall, sadly.

Underworld would have been better if they had a real protagonist. The third one was my favorite.

I heard a mom and her daughters talking about that after the movie. Apparently the last book is really thick and for the first half it follows the warewolf and his thoughts, then towards the end of the book it follows the vampire and his thoughts. So we probably get 2 more movies out of this… I hear that this movie is getting bad reviews, I’m glad, hopefully the last 2 are somewhat more entertaining for those of us that aren’t easily distracted by lil boys with their shirts off and Johnny Bravo hair.

These series would do alot better, IMO, if they even made a sliver of an attempt to appeal to the male audience. They realize our gf’s are dragging us to these movies, if they were slightly more entertaining more guys may be willing to be dragged along, instead of fighting tooth and nail to watch something else.
