Help me dudes, I think I am over analyzing. 4-2-2 tempo for say curls-does this mean 4 seconds to lower, 2 to raise, and 2 to “squeeze” at the top, or 4 to lower, 2 at full extension, and then 2 to raise? 4-2-2 on a bench am i supposed to pause for 2 seconds at the bottom or what? I have Ians book but am too dam dumb to figger this out. Thanx
Try the FAQ section of T-mag for a complete answer. If you’re too dumb to “figger” out where that is, then the “4 to lower, 2 at full extension (pause), and
then 2 to raise” is correct.
