Currently taking 5% nutrition liver and organ defender, while taking orals, tablets have 1,000mg of NAC in each, taking 9 aday. Looking at taking TUDCA as well, anyone do this? Can anyone recommend a good TUDCA supplement dose? Cheers
I thought the recommended dose of NAC was 600mg twice a day? You are taking 9000? Who is suggesting that?
5% nutrition liver and organ defender, 1000mg NAC in each cap, recommended dose is x3 caps x3 times aday, 9000mg of NAC aday
Have you ever done a liver health blood panel to see if what your numbers look like?
I keep a pretty close eye on my liver, kidneys, prostate, lipids and BP. With supplements and regular blood testing many times a year. At 67 one can’t be too careful.
EDIT a little googling.
Showing results for [can you overdose on NAC]
An excessive dosage of NAC over a short period of time can lead to hemolysis, thrombocytopenia, and acute renal failure in patients with normal glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase, and finally to death.Feb 27, 2015
How much NAC can you take a day?
There is no recommended daily allowance for NAC , because unlike vitamins, it’s not an essential nutrient. The dosage used to prevent radio contrast dye damage is 600 mg to 1200 mg every 12 hours for 48 hours.Jan 10, 2017
IMO 9000mg of NAC a day is dangerous and you are doing yourself no favors it taking that much.
Your right my calculations were way off, it’s 1000mg of NAC “per serving”, meaning all 9 capsules add up to 1000mg. My bad.
Strom support Maxx is also 1000mg per serving of 4 capsules.
Cheers for the correction.
No problem my friend. I am just glad we got the dose figured out. I am doing that all the time esp when mcg get involved with a dose, haha
You heard the FDA is trying to ban NAC in America? I stocked up as best as I could.
