Trying to add more whey?

Trying to up my protein intake. Egg whites in the AM (between 1-2cups), Greek yogurt for a snack, usually chicken breast or low sodium tuna for lunch, similar for dinner. I’d say I can get 150 gr of protein from food during the day.

Always been a post workout shake guy. Between 25-50. In the afternoon lately, I mix in another 50 gr whey/casein mix.

Is it wise to add another shake in during the day?

I’m at 205-207 now. Goal weight is 175 but I want to keep as much muscle as I can. Calorie intake is 2500-3000, in the fall want to cut back 1800-2200.

Is it 250 gr of protein with 100 gr coming from whey overkill?

Why whey specifically vs something like Metabolic Drive? I find a blended protein far more preferable vs straight whey

Given your protein choices and struggle to get 150g how many carbs are you eating? 400+

Maintain 1.25-1.5g protein per lbs of lean body mass.
Obviously Whole Foods are the best way but if you gotta drink shakes to hit your goals then do it.

The one is 65 whey/45 casein. I’m away from my bench/desk otherwise I would give you brand.

I actually think I will repurchase once I finish the new ON jug.

It varies. I allow myself more on lift/walk/spin days. I want to say 300-400.

This is primarily steamed vegetables, that Daves Sprouted wheat thin slice bread, oatmeal, banana, grapefruit and whatever is in standard protein powder.

Really cleaned up diet in last month, but trying to fine tune.

I also have appreciated the help. Gonna do a progress pic in late Oct and document my cut. The hope is to be around 195 and get to <180 by the time the ball drops.

I am not anti- carb but, I think that is way too high for most people.

I would up the protein and fat. You are probably around 40 grams a day.
