Trump: The Third Year

Huh?

Of all the sins President Trump has committed and will commit in the future, this is not one of them.

Looks pretty bad. Does he give a source?

Send an e-mail to the author of the piece and ask him.

I am sure he would welcome a serious inquiry after all of the hate and vitriol that he has received from “Christians”…

He posted this excerpt from an e-mail he allegedly received, claiming that it’s “not much of an outlier”.

I didn’t read all of them I would assume so. Of course if receiving a bribe is bad wouldn’t it be pretty implied bribery itself is bad?

I realize you’ve said you have no problem with what Trump did

That’s what I said looks pretty bad. I’d like a bit more than a claim that someone received some words via e-mail. No Christian would write that, so I wouldn’t credit it to evangelicals.

Since you are no expert on Christianity, I’ll have to disagree with your guesses.

Well, the editor of Christianity Today wrote that said e-mail wasn’t an outlier, so either he’s lying or there’s something wrong with the flock.

There’s a third possibility, which is supported by the e-mail: The writer of the e-mail is not a Christian.

If we held all Christians to the highest standard of Christianity then would there be any Christians?

Or he isn’t a perfect Christian which makes him a Christian.

He and Trump have that in common. They also have in common their love for Trump!

Answer: A bribe is money, favor, or other consideration given in exchange for one’s influence against what is true, right, or just. The Bible is clear that giving or receiving a bribe is evil.

  1. Mocking Christ while referring to another as your savior goes a bit beyond not being “a perfect Christian.”

  2. It seems you don’t understand what makes one a Christian, and I’m not the least bit surprised.

Yes.

If I recall the latest ZOMG! Trump! moment, Trump did not give anything in exchange for influence against what is true, right, or just. I believe the claim is that he attempted to uncover truth.

Did he mock Christ or question where he is? Something many believers have done whenever something bad happens or prayers go unanswered.

You’re the one playing judge over who qualifies as a Christian, which shows how much you don’t understand what makes one a Christian. But your imperfection doesn’t mean you can’t be a Christian. Christ preached to the ignorant so I can at least be tolerant.

Reading that transcript shows Trump broke the Eighth Commandment. Thanks for posting.

We’ve had this conversation before. I won’t be changing your mind that he did something wrong.

He has a long history of just wanting everyone to know the truth…as long as it isn’t anything that could ever potential harm him. It’s morally right for Trump to offer payment to seek the truth and I suppose it’s morally right for him to do whatever he can to cover up the truth about him.

A true justice hound!

It doesn’t take much to realize that merely “not being a perfect Christian” does not make one a Christian. You asserted that it does:

Did it reveal that he stole, or that he bore false witness against his neighbor?
