The ban got significantly harder to pass as soon as Trump made that arms deal with SA.
I have accepted that deal was not the best thing to do as I said earlier, however I understand the world revolves on oil so canāt blame him.
Still not sure why the Leader of a country cannot decide who comes in to his country but if the federal court chose it I cannot object.
Because it violates the 1st Amendment. Trumpās rhetoric on the campaign trail continues to haunt him.
Surely they have freedom to exercise their religion but not freedom to move into that country whenever they choose. You donāt have a constitutional right to go and live in a different country no matter your own beliefs.
Just More judicial activism.
All that Trumpās alleged alpha manliness would be more convincing if his own trophy wife didnāt snub his attempts at holding hands on two separate occasions during this trip.
Also, my personal experience is that guys who try laughably to assert their dominance with a Trump-like pull handshake are insecure pricks.
People with real authority do not have to resort to such petty attempts to prove their alleged dominance.
I donāt recall Maggie Thatcher or Ronald Reagan ever doing something like this.
Iāve said this before and Iāll say it again : men with lots of confidence (like Trump) offend those with little.
Men with confidence donāt need to push their way to the front of the line like a three year trying to push their way to the front of the line for a ride down a slide. If you think that is the actions of a person with confidence you are sadly mistaken. You call it it confidence I call it being an asshole.
Being an asshole and being confident are not necessarily mutually exclusive.
Why do people constantly confuse being Good or virtuous with being āalphaā or confident?
Terrible people can be confident and so can great people
You know whatās ironic? Markovic, the Montenegro PM whom alpha Trump pushed aside, has shown some serious balls last year by standing up to Putin, something that cannot be said of Trump.
Putin and Lavrov publicly voiced thinly veiled threats to the then-President and the PM to withdraw the Montenegro NATO bid in order to āensure public as well as their personal safetyā.
Once the Montenegrins shunned Putin, the FSB organized a coup dāetat using Russian mercenaries that was supposed to kill the Montenegro President and the PM and was only thwarted at the last minute.
Disobeying a menacing āsuggestionā from the Kremlin, especially if you lead a tiny country of 500k people is like refusing to pay protection money for the Mob. Maybe itās not the smartest thing to do but it definitely takes guts.
Compare this to this whole kindergarten āI can push you aside and squeeze your hand really hardā Trump posturing.
You donāt yank and pull dictators, especially those that killed over 20k of their own people.
Best of luck with that! I am in the midst of one myself.
Also welcome back, I enjoyed your posts.
Cannot possibly agree with this statement enough! Trump is actively hurting us, and it seems there are rumblings already across the pond.
I did say it was funny not necessarily Trump showing his pure āAlphanessā.
