25000 more jobs created.

Maybe it’s time to start a tally of all the jobs he creates prior to jan 20

Eh, maybe not. Plans are not actions, and overblowing expectations can make a net positive look like a negative. Lets say IBM sets the bar at 25k, but finds out later that they really only need 15K. Now they look like jerks for failing to deliver on those other 10k.

Government does not create jobs!

All Republicans know that!

I’m not so concerned with a 100% accurate tally but to gauge the level of optimism Trump has created in the private sector.

For instance small business optimism has skyrocketed post election
Small business owners’ plans to hire jumped 14 percentage points from pre-election to post-election, according to the index.
I heard Jesus Christ is finally coming back thanks to Donald Trump.

Oh this is already so much fun and he’s only the President-Elect.

“We’re going to make it a lot easier for you to trade across borders,” he told the audience.

Oh, if there only was some sort of agreement facilitating free trade that the US was a signatory of…

But in a conference room in Trump Tower on Wednesday, Trump encouraged coziness among bankers, the government and tech executives hand-selected by PayPal billionaire Peter Thiel at the industry summit held at Manhattan’s Trump Tower. “Everybody knows Wilbur,” Trump said of his nominee for commerce secretary, Wilbur Ross. “They never call him Wilbur Ross on Wall Street. They just say, ‘Oh, it’s Wilbur.’” Trump also introduced Gary Cohn, former president of Goldman Sachs, who left the investment bank earlier this week to serve as Trump’s chief economic adviser.

This guy is intentionally trolling his electorate. “Oh, it’s Wilbur” - pure gold from a person so staunchly dedicated to curbing Wall Street influence…

Come on man. The US tax payer has spent trillions of dollars and thousands of lives facilitating free trade throughout the entire world.

Who else has, other than perhaps the British Empire?

I don’t think you get my point. The President-Elect ranted against NAFTA, talked about introducing tariffs and protective barriers on his campaign trail and is now saying this, which to me seems completely at odds with one of the main talking-points of his campaign:

The president-elect told the assembled CEOs that he would eliminate restrictions on international trade, a statement at odds with his hard stance against the North American Free Trade Agreement (Nafta) and the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) during his campaign. “[T]here are a lot of border restrictions and a lot of border problems,” Trump said. “You probably have less of a problem than some companies. Some companies have massive problems. But we’re going to solve those problems.”

Or am I missing something?

I tried to link a pic of Janus, but not easy on tablet like on desktop.

HAHA look at Tim Cooks face

Trump just cut the Atlantics access after one of the reporters suggested in an apparent joking manner Trump was having sex with ivanka

She just broke through to a new low level of stupid. Too dumb to even work in modern journalism.

… No chance this would ever be a problem in America eventually, America is different from England doesn’t count.

What do you guys think will ultimately happen with sanctuary cities? Will Trump be successful in ending them?

Withholding federal funding can be a double edged sword. Local politicians will play the blame game, and given the heavy reliance on federal funding, could win. When schools have to do without, public projects put on hold and jobs are lost because of that withholding- the local politicians will just point the finger at the Trump admin, and will be partially correct.

The reason behind it gets lost in the shuffle. It just becomes “You lost your jobs because He cut our budget.”. The dog bites the mailman, not the person who whacks it with the paper.

True, what they can and should do is “create” a business friendly environment. Lower taxes, cut regulation etc. And I think that is what Trump will be doing.

There are plenty of ways to get these big City left wing idiot Mayors to see things his way.

I can see this happening. As a small business owner I felt a sense of optimism not because of Trump but because we are getting rid of the most anti small business President in my lifetime.
