Trump: The First 100 Days

But you are forgetting one very important detail. It matters not that Trump gets blamed for loss of funds in these Major Cities. They will all vote for the next democrat anyway.

New York, San Francisco, Los Angles, Austin, Etc.

Let them rot.

I don’t think it would matter (blaming Trump I mean), because many of these cities are falling apart even with Federal money. We have serious problems with homelessness, poverty, crime, schools, roads, taxes, jobs, and LA is still getting Federal money.

Cut the funds and you will see these mayors crumble. No one can exist without Federal money, these mayors are just grandstanding.

Note how the cities who want to be sanctuaries are also where people are fleeing from. LA, NYC, San Fran, and Chicago, they are treating the federal government like a foreign government

Trump knew his only path to victory was the traditional red and blue state configuration holding and maybe flipping Rust Belt states. He told them what they wanted to hear to get the sale.

The fascinating part is that they believed him. Donald Trump, the 21th century working class hero probably never in his life communicated with a working class person aside from chauffeurs and hotel maids before he started his campaign.

On a side note, this is getting better and better. Can’t wait to hear explanations how does the “drain the swamp” phrase fit in with tax havens and Russian shell companies…

When the overwhelming message from the other side was “You are all a bunch of idiots, bigots, etc., and your jobs are going overseas!” said with a smugness that was as palpable as a thick fart, It wasn’t a hard decision.

Believe me, it wasn’t. Every neo-libtard grasping at the feeling of being smart was chanting it every chance that they got. On television, in print, and all over the web.

I just didn’t figure it was a good idea to go with the party that was dancing on my grave before I was even dead.

So… this? (serious question)

I think this culturally hits the mark pretty close to the middle of the target.

Of course, the problem with voting for the Brick Through the Window is that while you enjoy the primal scream along with the throw and the satsifying sound of smashing glass, all you’re really left with is a broken window and a useless brick.

But the people should never have been pushed into such a corner.

Actually, somewhat. Even with the amount he covered, there is still a whole lot missing, mainly because that is his story. There are millions of others just like his. Different details, but generally similar.

The thing is, I’m not rural by any stretch. It isn’t just region vs. city. I live 10 miles outside of a major city, smack dab in the suburbs, and was raised less than 3 miles from the formal boundary of the city proper.

For me it is more about disagreeing with a political modus operandi that treats people like me (blue collar, minimal post high school education) as idiotic cash cows, political leverage, and ultimately as a disposable culture. By continuously pushing an agenda that has literally taxed and regulated ways of life in entire regions to the brink of existence, the Democrat party has alienated what used to be its core constituency. To take it one step further, the media and academia has undertaken a character assassination campaign that just bluntly states- You are idiots. You are disposable. You are deplorable. We are global. You are a relic.

So Yeah. Fuck that whole party. I know that they want to court the new generation of new tech, college educated idealists, but that doesn’t mean that they should continue to kill the previous one. Or that we will let them.

…sounds like the same argument used to justify Baltimore, Ferguson, etc., etc. …

…I’ve never pulled a blue lever in my life. I heard all the same things you did. Somehow I never thought they were directed at me; I wonder why?

They feel the same way about the military. Let the “low income, poorly educated, guys and gals go to war” while we take classes on Global Hiphop and the Social cultures, the South will always have the poor to die for three meals a day. For those of you in secure bubbles, here is a news flash: I have never seen , nor heard, such genuine hatred for liberals.

That is because virtually all enlisted are from the same background.

It’s unfortunate to say, but people like my Grandfather (retired E-9) or my mother and father in Law (retired E-8 and E-7 respectively) served this country for a combined 62 years and yet come back to communities and are discriminated against for the color of their skin. That’s one reason why they’re all from the same background. Why serve still and be treated like this guy:

You also have to be someone that will do whatever to protect the interests of the US. There are so many left-leaning people that will advocate for illegal immigrants on an ethos basis…but don’t recognize or value the logos behind having them enter the country legally. It’s the same with invading countries, dropping nuclear bombs, etc. Basically, from what I observe being surrounded around them daily, they want to see the best in everyone unless you’re against their beliefs. Lol

In my family it was what you do after high school because you are not going to college. Plain and simple. You want the GI bill or any other decent shot at vocational training- You enlist.

As a general rule, upper middle to upper class don’t step down into hardship.

Both of those points are true too. It’s worth the risk essentially.

The author of the article I linked to published a new one today - an internal debate with a younger version of himself, back when he was a conservative.

A very, very interesting read…

I wonder if he even flinches when saying stuff like this

The forked tongue acts like a damper for vibration - so no, he doesn’t flinch.

My wife showed me that video last week and I laughed my butt off. Her version didn’t have Jimmy Stewart at the beginning.
