Trump: The First 100 Days

Why so?

Well this is a new one: Arabs praise 'Abu Ivanka' aka Trump for Syria strike and #AmericaIsOverParty fears army draft - BBC News

“Father of Ivanka the American” LOL.

Then there was this: (in the article Aragorn posted):

Syrian journalist Rami Jarrah had a more measured response:

“Syrians are not cheering a pathetic human being like Trump, they’re just happy Assad has less means to kill them with.”

"Trump has quickly discovered the magic principle of US politics: when things go wrong at home, start a military venture in the Middle East," London-based blogger Karl Sharro, who is half-Lebanese and half-Iraqi, commented.

Another person added: “So now you love Trump? Where are those who said when he came into power that he hates Arabs and Muslims?”

Also, a pro-Syrian government Twitter user who was critical of the US move tweeted: “Is Trump going to bomb his own airfields for all the Iraqi and Syrian children they have killed in Raqqa and Mosul?”

The people that didn’t like him weren’t suddenly going to after this anyways.

For them, this is just one more thing to not like. Also for consideration- Its taken from social media, the best outlet for hysterical exaggeration that will never come to fruition to date.

I’d love to see the people saying that they’d run to Mexico actually run to Mexico. They’d be back in a week naked and penniless. It’s not the resort town they stayed in on vacation or spring break.

You fault the republicans for playing by the rules setup by the democrats? How foolish. If the shoe were on the other foot the democrats would have done the exact same thing and I would not have blamed them. Of course if the situation were reversed you’d have the left wing media talking all about the evil republicans trying to constantly obstruct.

Anyway, that’s the way the game is played. And…you really should know this by now.

I’d be more than happy to see that as well Sky.

You mean…like Twitter?

I see what you did there!

Yes Twitter. As in “I’m virtue signaling to the world from my Iphone on Twitter!” which by default excludes one from being equipped to go it on their own in a county where people live on less annually than that state of the art entertainment device cost.

So that way bills aren’t tainted by the need for the reconciliation and cloture.

A bill should either survive the House->Senate->Committee->President->SCOTUS or not.

Leave the silly Parliamentary rules to the Brits, Canadians, Israel etc…

Every goofy process gives legislators cover to put pork and other unseemly things into bills because they “had too” to get it passed. Let bills pass or fail on straight up or down votes. Sometimes the reconciliation process will add/subtract things that weren’t even in the bill when it was voted on. If legislators can’t get the bills they want what hope do voters have?

Yes I fault them for it. The old proverb about “two wrongs…” applies. And I’m not just talking about SCOTUS, that just happens to be the topic of the moment with Gorsuch.

THE GOVERNANCE OF MY COUNTRY is not a fucking game. I live in it, and I want to see it succeed. And I don’t care that damn dirty pols see it as a game. I KNOW they do–and THAT’S EXACTLY WHY I AM UPSET. It doesn’t excuse them. It was a shitty idea when Reid proposed the nuke and its a still a shitty idea now.

Okay, right now you are standing outside in the rain looking up at the sky, shaking your fist and screaming 'I DON’T WANT IT TO RAIN I WANT SUNNY SKIES." No one is going to change this game Aragorn. You are a smart guy I am sure you know this. Why frustrate yourself? As they say, “it is what it is.”

A good example of this is the “Russian game” the left has been running on Trump. It is freaking brilliant…it is also a total bunch of nonsense. It takes the Trump administration time and energy to deflect. And it also stirs up the left’s base. They actually believe it and get all excited. And that’s why that particular game is being run. You and everyone else around here knows that I am a republican. But I can step back and admire the game the left is running.

Just like the game that the far right ran on Obama claiming he was born in Kenya. In fact, a couple of low IQ posters actually accused me of believing this tripe.

Anyway…don’t let if frustrate you the game isn’t going to change any time soon.

I can be angry that it is raining even if I don’t attempt (in futility) to control the weather. I value principles instead of games.

Don’t you think it’s a bit neurotic to get mad over something you can’t change and will never change?

As for principals we are talking about politics. Please show me one national politician who has been elected to high office who actually has principals. Ha ha…come on…seriously.

They are all self-serving liars.

I support the self-serving liar whom I feel will best serve the country and of course my own personal needs. AND…that’s what just about everyone does over the age of about 35. The others vote for Gary Johnson Bwahaha.

At some point you’re going to have to wake up and realize 95% of what the government does isn’t representative of the people and it actively works to make the lives of its people worse

Russia Today. LOL

Equally as credible as CNN

I believe the populace is so divided, it will be that way in every decision. This plays into a few posts I have put up saying he is screwed if he stays or if he goes.

US is split among Liberals, Conservatives, a mid ground of Lib social/ Con financial & vice versa from both parties, and a huge number of ‘don’t care enough even to vote’. Throw in the populists and a few anarchists - and who can satisfy an actual majority?

I agree CNN has no credibility left when it comes to politics–NONE.
