Trump: The First 100 Days

This became a joke at our house. We had cable but nobody was watching it. I knew something was wrong when I started thinking, “Dammit, kids! You need to get in here and watch more TV.”

LOL!! That’s fantastic.

I never grew up with cable. My best friend sid though, and as he was 2 houses down from me I managed to find my way there almost every day of the week for all the “good movies” that I couldn’t get at home. Of course that was when cable was something like 20 bucks a month.

Speaking of disgust, enter John McCain

Senator McCain, we thank you for your service to our country and that debt can never be repaid. But you are for sure one of the leading asshats in the senate.

I think we’ll see an inevitable gutting of ISPs as companies like Google break into the ISP game. As landlines become obsolete I think most ISPs (that aren’t already) will be forced to break into the mobile service industry. I also think an a la carte service is not only functional, but would be utilized by more people than some realize.

People are really starting to specialize in their interests (at most ages). With the amount of information overload society faces on a daily basis, it’s so easy to get lost in such a smaller number of things due to the sheer amount you can consume.

Getting people that like to cook to buy the Food Network a la carte, or a young family buying the cartoon channels, or a sports family buying the channels needed for football/baseball/etcetc is much easier than getting them to pay for 200 channels so they can watch 6.

This explains it

Wednesday, November 5, 2008: The first day I was thankful for the fact that I would not be forced to deal with the consequences of my decision to vote for McCain. I regret that vote to this day, but I am thankful enough people voted for Obama to keep that psycho out of office. Truthfully, I despised him even then but liked Palin well enough to vote against the Democratic Party. Still, I am definitely glad that others had better sense than I.

Here’s Leon Lett serving the Cowboys like McCain served the U.S.

That’s what some of the WONKS of the industry are saying too.

As it stands (and I think that it’s DUMB of the industry, especially now)…that you have to get a “package” or an “access” to tune-in to a show you may want. It’s happened to me.

I wanted badly to see “Black Sails”…but not enough to buy a whole “STARZ” package…and the new “Star Trek” that is coming out requires you to “buy” “CBS Access”.

Young people are saying “F*ck You!” to this kind to crap.

So they’re girly men, ok. What do you call someone with four draft deferments for hammer toes?

His toes are hammers- Therefore he is a descendant of Thor!

I reread this sentence probably half a dozen times. I don’t think I’ve ever heard anyone say this before.

McCain, Trump, and the Media aside, I have one thing I am thankful for this year. I now know how to cook a nothing-burger to perfection.

Alrightmiami, I could not have said it any better.

Oh I love riddles…And I have one for you. What do you call a President who uses the IRS to harass conservative groups?

LMAO Sky you never disappoint man.

A figment of your imagination.

:astonished:

Yes, that’s exactly why IRS commissioner Lois Lerner pled the 5th in congressional hearings, with Obama in the White House.

Lois Lerner pleaded the 5th on multiple occasions. Had Trump’s head of the IRS done that the dems would have been screaming impeachment. There would have been an immediate investigation and the head of the IRS would have been jailed until she talked. Not to mention the MSLM would have had the story front and center every moment of every day.

The only figment of imagination is you thinking that there was no smoking gun here.

(By the way you didn’t answer the riddle correctly …Bzzz)

This channel is great. Words straight from the horses mouths-

It’s a lot to sort through, but there is plenty on the whole IRS investigation, including the original testimony that brought the case before congress.

And it seems that Lerner tried to play jump rope with the 5th and got tripped up by trying to introduce certain facts into evidence but hide from cross examination.

“You can expect reductions in parts of the EPA that don’t line up with the president’s views on things like global warming and alternative energies,” Mulvaney said.

Between this and Sessions’ comment yesterday where he said marijuana was “only slightly less awful” than heroin, sounds like we are really launching ourselves into the 21st century with this administration.
