Trump: The First 100 Days

One other thing, Beans…

That leaves you with Giuliani and Romney…

Does domestic issues like that really matter much for Secretary of state?

Probably not directly, but I think it’s a look into where Trump really stands on the 2A.

Wait

You’re still here?

He gave them 7M in tax breaks

He’d be an okay pick. I think a great General should be leading troops. I say put people where they are the strongest. Put him back in uniform and have him demolish Isis.

I know many conservatives on this site would disagree with me but I’d like to see Romney as SOS. And I think that’s where Trump is heading.

I really hope he selects Kobach for DHS

Trump was a general who is antigun?

News to me.

Ones horrid, the other I think would be “okayish”. You can assign those labels to whichever you want.

You mean the guy who has suggested at one point that there be federal gun permits?

Just bustin’ your chops, Brother! (Like you do to me!)

On a serious note…which do you think is which?

I think Trump is giving it serious consideration.

I don’t think you have a second meeting with the wives involved and your future chief of staff unless there is a great amount of interest.

And while it may tick off the right wing of the party it will impress the more moderate republicans and also many democrats. On top of that Romney is an exceptionally accomplished individual both in business as well as government.

I’m not beans but I would guess Rudy as the horrid one…at least for that job

Seems like a good deal right?

If the average job saved paid 50k x 1000 that’s 50M in annual taxable income… Way more than 7M in tax breaks.

The 7M is the total are over a 10 year period so factor in the time value of money

Edit : they’re also going to invest 16M into their infrastructure to stay in Indiana

Zeb is right. Rudy just… I don’t know, he’s a smart man, and he took down the damn mafia ffs, but something about him as SS rubs me the wrong way.

I thought Romney would have made a good POTUS, and is likely one of the cleanest Politicos around. He’s a practicing Mormon, can’t much more square than that. So while I worry about someone who doesn’t drink coffee as SoS, I think he’s do okay in the roll. I just don’t know if he wants it.

He’s in the twilight of his career and going out as SOS would be a great way to call it a day. He wants it.

How will the SOS position play out in a nationalist oriented presidency, assuming Trump fulfills his promises?

Has to be somewhat limited compared to previous presidencies right?

Yup, just ignoring your usual non-sense.
