I never in any life time thought I would hear any one of the Turks say anything nice about Trump. Whoa…I feel like the Twilight Zone is here
Aragorn. I’m not familiar with these guys.
Would it compare to, say, Hannity or Zeb saying something nice about President Obama?
THAT would certainly put it in perspective for me.
I am predicting that he will be far and away better than Obama.
Edit: People who do not understand how business people think will be very shocked at how much Trump gets done in four years. If they liked his agenda they will love the results that he gets.
One more thing. if people really do go back to work because of Trump’s efforts and the economy turns around he will get reelected in a landslide (I am not predicting that at this early stage …these are simply “ifs”.)
Yes. That would be a very good analogy.
Very true Mufasa.
But, if he gave the business some sort of tax break so what? Corporate taxes are going to be dramatically lowered anyway based on his campaign promise. And that is something that I think he will get done based on how high they currently are and the fact that both houses of congress are republican.
What we do know is that there are 1000 people who continue to have jobs and will spend money in that area which indeed helps the economy.
Ha ha I told you once before that when Obama had Osama Bin Laden killed I gave him much credit. It was a great move, I loved it. He did the right thing.
See?
When he does something right I give him credit.
Got it!
Then that IS epic!
Come on Mufasa I want credit for giving Obamawitz credit for killing Bin Laden…come on say it…go ahead make my day.

Just so long as every company gets the same tax rate. If he offered Carrier special privileges I am against it. If his promise is that the corporate tax rate will come down and they changed their mind, fine.
Again, if this is not because of big subsidies and special privilege. Workers at Tesla have jobs and spend money, but it doesn’t mean dick when tax payers are flipping the bill. Employment and spending are great if they are driven by the market.
Apparently he threatened to take away their government contracts if they left
Just read Trump is interviewing David Petraeus for secretary of state. Ha!
It’s clear what he’s doing. The media will attempt to skewer him for considering someone who leaked classified information… Guess who else did that ![]()

Media is imploding taking his bait constantly
David Petraeus would be an excellent pic on so many levels.
The “teasing” seems to be whatever the heck Trump is doing with Romney.
100% agreed. But his own infelicities with regards to security make it an easy avenue of attack for his opponents.
I think Ben Shapiro has nailed this particular episode. Trump is in a no lose scenario here. Either he dumps Romney, thus throwing red meat to the base, or he takes Romney and looks gracious and presidential.
Either way, he isn’t done milking the confusion over this.
How would a president-elect give the company a tax break?
This is it. All I’ve heard as possible explanations is that Trump unilaterally negotiated with, made promises to, or bullied an individual company into doing something.
The problem is it’s unilateral.
Imagine if/when Obama was bullying companies into what he wanted them to do without Congress. Was that a good thing?
Why, if it weren’t for double standards, “conservatives” would have no standards at all.

no thanks. He’s an oath breaking anti-gun douche bag who can’t keep his dick in his pants.
I’ve been thinking about this (and another post of your similar) and while I’m not ready to argue you’re wrong or not giving him enough credit, my gut tells me something else is a foot.
We gave our son unfettered internet access around 2008-2009 maybe. Which means I have to look into a lot of “hip” websites to see the shit he would/could be getting into. Reddit was so hard to read for me, I had to give up, and then you end up at shitholes like 4chan.
So as I’ve watched places like 4chan start out a minority of mostly young people using outlandish (and very very racist on it’s face) language for a “joke” or a sense of irony as “we’re different and edgy, see”; just basically trolling with it. Well now it’s people un-ironically praising shit like Hitler and actually being racist. So if you take these fringe believers and extrapolate it to the broader population, I think there is a shift happening.
I think there is a shift away from identity politics, if not an outright rejection of it, and if the left doesn’t stop doubling down on it… We’re not only going to end up with more Trump-esk candidates, your typical American Contemporary Conservatives and Democrats will no longer be as currently set up.
Could we possibly be seeing the death of both major parties right now? The Republicans have been infighting and killing each other since 2007, the Dems seem content on continuing to kill themselves falling on the legislated morality sword… (ie bitching about it while doing it)
That would be Trump, Beans…!
