Read the books, too⊠this woke trash is so cringey.
Soy Wars - Marginalized Groups in Outer Space.
These pukes have made no contribution to society or any accomplishments of their own, so they shoehorn their trash into everything else.
First SS were pugilists
I never thought Star Wars was science fiction, let alone good science fiction. 2001 was science fiction, for example. Star Wars was more like a Western set in a galaxy far away where the laws of physics donât apply. The Force is more supernatural than science. Dune, obviously the books but also the movies, is science fiction.
They need to go back to school and first learn how to tell a good story. Nobody cares about what orientation or whatever the characters are if itâs a well written story. So many of the TV shows and movies I see now all the characters are one dimensional. There are no character development arcs (think Campbellâs heroâs journey), just identity BS.
Then the producers come out and call all the critics bigots or -ists or -phobes. Itâs like blaming your neighbor for your dog shitting in their lawn.
Yeah, it does follow that theming a bit more.
I am just hoping they didnât ruin Deadpool and Wolverine with this new release.
The real powers in charge have purposely targeted those emotionally unstable smooth brains to foment more fracturing of society. These useful idiots serve no purpose and are completely bound to their identity which passes for substance or meaning
You then weaponize them
It doesnât work like that anymore. Take Amanda Gorman; she is called a poet but she isnât a poet, she is someone who wrote poetry. Who hasnât written poetry? Weâve all written poems in English class. She majored in sociology, which we know is one of the easiest majors and which doesnât require studying poetry.
She personally read a few black female poets making her a hack; someone who has written more than they have read. Yet, she was chosen to read a poem at the inauguration. And the poem, surprise, was trash. English teachers have analyzed it and not rated it that highly. If you ask someone who liked her poem what was it about, they really canât say because it isnât about anything. They can only refer to the sentiment. Itâs the thought that counts. It lacks basic poetic devices. But this is what gets pushed on us as great poetry.
Now imagine you are a young Tarantino and you submit a script to a Hollywood producer. He or she will give it to some recent college grad, who is probably a woman, maybe a gay man, or trans/ non binary. This person, even if they majored in English, will have a limited knowledge of great writing because they avoided, as much as possible, reading dead white men. And when they did, they probably critiqued and analyzed it through the whole victim-oppressor lens. In short, Tarantinoâs script gets tossed in the trash. This is why you wonât ever see a series with the writing of The Sopranos. You wonât see comedies like Seinfeld.
You want good movies? Get Weinstein back to Hollywood!
He did manage that.
It crazy! Both the Sopranos and Seinfeld were huge fan favourites among the College crowd when I was in Uni.
Seinfeld! It was never even a slightly political show.
Now all the fucking kids are calling him a zionist, and are trying to cancel him because he dated some chick who was of legal age when he dated her. Why? Because heâs not screaming ââFREE PALESTINEââ with them.
Like he can be cancelled at this point.
I canât even think of many comedians who are cleaner or more apolitical than Jerry fuckin Seinfeld.
The Sopranos was very ethnic.
As if thats a bad thing.
Rainbow haired bull dyke wiccan folk singer? No problem.
Actual character that isnât the personification of Trite? AAAAAGHHH!
Here you go:
Anthony Guglielmi, a spokesman for the Secret Service, admitted to The Washington Post that the agency had denied Trumpâs request for additional security, but claimed it had only learned about the new information in the wake of the tragedy.
Guglielmi told The Post that there were âsome instances where specific Secret Service specialized units or resources were not provided,â but that the agency instead utilized state or local partners to add protections.
âFool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me.â
Dude! Youâve been missing a lot of TV!
You do know that the co-creator of Seinfeld had a show for 24 years, that just recently ended.
The creator of the Sopranos made a Sopranos movie a few years ago.
And that one of the main writers for the Sopranos now writes for the mafia show âTulsa Kingâ with Stallone.
You do know that the co-creator of Seinfeld had a show for 24 years, that just recently ended.
Of course, but that was like Seinfeld 2.0, without Seinfeld.
The creator of the Sopranos made a Sopranos movie a few years ago.
Which was woke garbage he didnât put any effort into. He admitted he should have gone back and re-watched the series because the timeline was off among other things. He just phoned it in.
And that one of the main writers for the Sopranos now writes for the mafia show âTulsa Kingâ with Stallone.
Not as good as The Sopranos and Stallone complained about the wokeness in Hollywood recently and was accused of toxic behavior on the set. This show and Jack Reacher might be the only new shows Iâve watched in a while. But the writing isnât great on either and they both have to walk a fine line with regard to wokeness.
Watched some of the hearing with the SS j director⊠just wow
I missed it but look forward to catching up.
Harold Ford (ex-congressman) from the show The Five made an excellent point -the hearing should have been private, because now every lunatic out there knows thereâs a hopelessly incompetent DEI hire at the helm of the USSS, and the âmystiqueâ if you will, of the SS is irretrievably(?) gone.
Do you guys think Trump will cut the Secret Service Director some slack and keep her around if he gets elected? He could put her on a performance improvement plan. My old boss at Arbyâs put me on one back in the 90âs because of my frequent absences and the mistakes I would make when I was extremely stoned.
I never managed to find success when I worked at Arbyâs, but I definitely appreciated being given the chance to improve.
