Trump on Rogan

Yeah, say what you want about President Trump, but he got difficult issues like illegal border crossings and ISIS under control cheap and fast.

There are policies we can argue over that will help people and the economy, such as Student Loans, that arenā€™t existential. Immigration, China (they are a Foreign Policy issue to themselves!), energy and Foreign Policy are existential right now. Many can be dealt with at the Executive level. So I have to agree.

Pre-emptive strike on China!

I wonā€™t stop being a high achiever just because my buying power reduces by a few percentage points. If the wealthy can afford a slightly smaller yacht, or a few less trips to HomeGoods so that more folks can afford food, shelter, and healthcare, I am happy with that deal. YMMV.

A more progressive tax structure would keep tax revenue steady by allowing low earners to keep a little more income, while high earners pay a little more to make up the gap. Somewhat similar to the effect of raising a minimum wage, but wouldnā€™t hit small business owners who arenā€™t making big bucks as hard.

I appreciate the for fun moral aspect of your sentiment. But disagree. You get what you earn.

More importantly, can you please apply the math to your ideology?

Isis was pretty much defeated by 2017, trump swept up the scraps. And didnā€™t the migrant crisis at the southern border start in 2020?

Which part? Feel free to go first, Iā€™m limited for time today.

Move to Belarus already, or quit being a chicken shit and admit you donā€™t believe in liberal democracy. If every trumper was that honest, then these conversations would be a lot less agonizing.

The part that shifts money ownership around via govt intervention in a way that creates an economic utopia.

Iā€™m not sure how Iā€™m supposed to go first, itā€™s your proposition. Tomorrow is fine.

Wonā€™t be a utopia, but donā€™t let perfect be the enemy of better.

Why donā€™t you think a more progressive tax structure would help lower and middle class folks?

Your credibility is dubious if you believe that. And you forgot to add the ā€œ34 countsā€ part to give that the requisite extra oomph.

Iā€™m surprised that an engineer chooses to ignore 3 !/2 years of stability derailed by Covid, followed by the ongoing shit show that we have currently. I thought actual results were the most important. But hey, embrace the feel good rhetoric, if thatā€™s more important to you. Propaganda works because it meets a need, after all.

A continued wonderful sentiment, but can you please apply the objective plan to make it a reality, with supporting proof or at least quantifiable information showing it will work?

How? Is he or is he not convicted?

Do you actually think he won the last election despite a myriad of data to the contrary?

Believing heā€™s not a felon is huffing copium.

Imaging if it was reversed and Hilary Clinton got convicted but all the left was saying it was bullshit. You would be saying the exact same thing the rest of the world is saying about Trump.

That Trump greatly contributed to by dumping Trillions into the economy that it couldnā€™t handle and escalating the debt at a ridiculous rate.
There is a time lag in the effects as felt by us peasants.

Better check how much you are buying into the rhetoric you want to believe then too. Or go check some economic data in relation to presidents and their effect on the economy - itā€™s not really the major contributor.

Since when is helping fellow humans ā€œfeel good rhetoricā€? Keep consuming the Russian bought feeds of Tim Pool and the like - clearly rotting your brain.

Iā€™ve been on record saying both parties contribute to the economic situation we have today.

Iā€™m referring to Afghanistan withdrawal, Middle East wars galore, immigrant gangs taking over (only a few) apartment buildings in the US. lawfare for hire, a senile old man as POTUS and an unelected low IQ ding dong running for POTUS.

Fool you once, shame on them; fool you twice, shame on you.

Keep believing they arenā€™t interferingā€¦itā€™s nonsense to believe they wouldnā€™t at least try (as is China).

This was Trump in 2016. Everyone who has ever been close to him says heā€™s an absolute moron.

In case you missed it, thereā€™s $20 billion ā€œspent on the homelessā€ in California that no one can locate. As an example.

Misappropriation of funds and shitty bureaucracy getting the way doesnā€™t change the fact a solution needs to be found.

Trump will win the popular vote.

Brace yourself. Thank me later for giving you the time to go through the stages of grief before it actually happens.

Unfortunately, I believe you are correct.

The final thing I will point out is that iirc, you jumped on some sort of book burning incident (in Florida, blamed on DeSantis?) that was ludicrous, and quickly debunked.

If you canā€™t learn from history, you are destined to, you knowā€¦
