Yeah I watched the entire first one but haven’t watched the second. It definitely explains more of what I see in Lewiston over the last few years with regards to Somalis.
We always knew most were on some form of public assistance. That’s never been a secret. We always knew about the dozens of nonprofits that get funded by tax dollars. We knew that the tax dollars funneled to these nonprofits skyrocketed after Mills won the governor’s seat in 2019 and we knew that the Biden Administration showered even more money on them.
Now we’re learning about the below-board stuff. We know how woke Democrats funneled nearly $2 million in mass shooting funds to immigrant nonprofits and prisoner advocacy nonprofits (including one ran by a guy who murdered his crack dealer with a gun in 1997 in Lewiston).
Just this week I took a peek at a nonprofit that The City of Lewiston has entered into a partnership with last year. They’ve probably received well over a million dollars in taxpayer money from both city, state, and likely the federal government, too. The Immigrant Resource Center of Maine (formerly United Somali Women of Maine) hasn’t filed taxes with the IRS since 2019, but they keep getting more and more money. It looks like their tax-exempt status was reinstated in 2024 after presumably being automatically revoked after not filing their 990’s, but the link on the IRS website is busted and no actual document is viewable. You can look them up yourself by searching EIN 20-2599862 on the IRS tax-exempt website.
They are definitely running similar scams here in Maine that Shirley documented in Minnesota, and not just Somalis, either. The problem is that Mainecare payments to health care providers need to be FOAA’s from the state government, and they charge enormous sums to provide it, so we can’t just look up and see that a local Learing center has received millions of dollars.
What I have noticed over the last few years are TONS of immigrants driving very expensive cars. Friends of mine have had single family homes bought up in their neighborhoods by healthcare companies to become “group homes” staffed by guys in their 20’s driving new BMW’s, Audis, etc. All very fishy.
Plus we elected Iman Osman to ward 5 city council seat, where he resigned like 48 hours after being sworn in due to felony firearms theft charges.
Everybody I know except for politically-active people and nonprofit employees are all cheering ICE’s arrival. The mayor’s facebook post about it was pretty interesting. They usually don’t get much attention but boy, that one sure did.

Most of the ICE guys I see on video are shooting some kind of spray thing. On one of the videos, someone (supposedly Good’s partner) is screaming “Why are you shooting real bullets?” These people can’t even tell when a real gun is being pointed at them; proves these people are cannon fodder, clueless, and being thrown into danger for propaganda purposes.

LOL. When I see a “right” talking point or story, my go to “fact check” LOLLL is to see what the MSM is saying about it. At the overlap of the two Venn diagrams, I will know that these are the indisputable facts.
If we just apply basic psychology on this; Europe may consider Trump unreliable considering his game on customs fees, how the previous meeting with Ukraine went in front of TV cameras, his tendency to negotiate and befriend Putin as well as the Greenland affair. Also, the Venezuelan act (even if it was legit) may add to the unreliability.

Personally, I would seek cooperation elsewhere - Namely China. No one really wants this, but my speculations are based on common human behaviour.
It seems like Trump thinks everything is business and “deals”. Based on psychology, this aggressive behaviour only work short-term (no one wants to negotiate again). I come to think of the negotiator Chris Voss, who recommends an empathic understanding in making successful deals.
But who needs Europe anyway?
