I think it’s interesting how the shooting has been handled in politics and public rhetorics in US. The sides were locked in right at the start, no matter what actually happened.
And what I’ve understood, US is pretty violent country anyway, and law enforcement shooting people is nothing new. It just happened to be ICE this time.

The USA is extremely safe outside of Democratic Party run dumps. Maine compared favorably to Scandinavia until recently. For perspective, there have been more shots fired in anger in Lewiston from 2019 to present than in the rest of history combined. That’s what happens when you decriminalize crime and stop putting violent people in cages while indiscriminately importing a new voting bloc by scamming the public.
As far as political reactions go, they are pretty easy to understand. You get “My truth” on the left and something much closer to the truth on the right.
In Aristotelian terms, the left is 90 percent pathos, 9 percent ethos, 1 percent logos. Conservatives tend to have a more balanced argument that is skewed towards logos.
Lethal force law is pretty mature but leftists don’t want to understand the ancient rights of self preservation. They just want to cosplay as resisters to a fictional fascist overlord, oblivious to the fact that the Democratic Party and street protests wouldn’t exist if American Republicans bore any meaningful resemblance to German National Socialists or the Finnish scoundrels who collaborated with them.

I’m actually surprised they didn’t shoot the dog first. Thing went for a wild ride.
And imagine owning the white car that got hit. You have to get the insurance information from the lesbian wife and file a claim.
80 years of brainwashing. The funny thing is, if our government actually was how they perceive it a fascist dictatorship, they wouldn’t be protesting for 2 reasons. Protesting Nazis was a death sentence and these people would likely be on the side of the fascist regime.

Well that is pretty fucking cool.
On an anecdotal note, I was talking with a friend of mine yesterday who is a second-generation Russian immigrant, so he’s still in touch with family in Russia. He said that Russians are kind of freaked out about how fast this operation was. They have gotten used to the “Special military operation” Ukrane, and when they think of war, they compare it to America in terms of Iraq/Afghanistan. So the execution of the mission came as a very big suprise.

Does everyone have this Sonic Energy weapon, and the US used it in combat first? Or is everyone working on it, and the US perfected it first?
We’ve heard about “Havanna Syndrome” for years. Is that what happens when the weapon is set on Low power?
Or was that an experimental, less potent, less effective version of the weapon the US just showed off?
I think this. The US and others have been working on that kind of stuff for a long time. Kind of the holy grail of high tech weaponry. Invisible, untraceable, and no evidence of its use.
I just wonder if it was like ultrasonic or microwave or what.

Ok, while I still don’t agree with the whole approach and shooting.
I did finally see a vid of the driver actually blocking traffic for a couple seconds. Then she is backed up and waving cars passed her.
Still does not truly prove much, she could have been parking but her girlfriend seems to be an instigator, so there’s that. But it’s revealing for sure.
All in all, these people doing this should just comply and get arrested, are they not aware that they will most likely be out the same day.
The politicians fueling it don’t really have their backs is another thing they should realize.
There’s a video of her blocking the road for at least 4 minutes. I think it comes from someone’s security cam.

I saw the video of the woman blocking the road.
I also Heard (here, I guess?) that she had been interfering with ICE for awhile, like hours, leading up to the shooting.
But I haven’t read it any citable news story or seen it “verified.”
Did that really happen? Had she been messing with ICE all day, or just for the 4-5 minutes right before the shooting?
I’ve been going around, thinking/claiming that’s how it went down. Do I have my facts straight?
Based on the things her wife was saying, it seems like they had been harassing ICE for a while.
