Some coverage is better than no coverage, but the “real news” didn’t mention that the owner also ran for president of Jubaland while funding a private militia with all of his fraudulent earnings.
It’s basically a game to downplay the severity of what is going on while still maintaining a facade of objectivity.
Then they go right back to covering feel-good stories and the latest wild take on Trump from some anonymous source, and hope people forget about Maines shocking decline.

The Nick Shirley Somali fraud video “viralness” is finally stalling out…at 129 million views.
And I’m now seeing the predicted videos attempting to expose similar frauds in other states. I’ve seen Ohio, and also Washington State so far.
I’m curious what the scam is locally. The city of Pittsburgh mayor Ed Gainey is right out of the communist grifter textbook, as is local representative Summer Lee and the county executive Sara Innamorato.
Almost certainly nonprofiteering. That’s everywhere.
In local news Homeland security paid a visit to the address that incoming council member Iman Osman claimed to live at. The first photo with the blurred signage is 210 Blake Street.
In addition to being a condemned site of Lewiston’s largest meth bust, Osman ran a variety of businesses out of it. A fake youth nonprofit, a translation business, a home health business, a halal market, a chicken shack, and several others I can’t recall off the top of my head.
No arrests or indictments yet, but I’ll be following this closely.

I really have a tough time understanding with any of these non profits or “learing centers” why are we giving them tax money at all? They should be receiving nothing. Tax exempt is the only exception they should receive (and some would argue that.) No business, charity or non profit should be receiving tax payer money at all. Kill all grants. Easiest audit ever.

It all makes perfect sense. Democrats are using tax dollars and saddling future generations with massive debt to import a new voting bloc and empower noncitizen voting. Aided by neoconservatives and establishment rinos.
Securing power is the priority, wealth extraction the primary purpose. Collapsing society would also be great for our enemies.
It really is that simple, which is why they try to destroy anyone who threatens their massive scam.

Oh, that’s all true. But I just don’t get why the American public is okay having their money stolen and given to non profits/charities (let alone private business subsidies too but I won’t include that giant shit storm in this discussion). It’s neither moral or practical to steal money and have the government distribute it. It’s really a further consequence of secularization and decline of Christianity in the US. I donate my money to my church. I donate money to charity. The government stealing from me and then giving it to my church is not charity, its theft and it costs more.
Okay, that was my little spaz moment. I know it’s not going to change. I’ll just ignore it until our impending demise.

I don’t think many people are even slightly aware of how the whole thing was propped up. That’s starting to change, and I think we’re going to see a pretty significant racket getting dragged into the public view in 2026.

If they’re actually providing a usefull service to people who need it, I have little to no problem with it. I’ve seen first hand the good that can be done, and the real measurable increases in quality of life those types of programs can provide.
Hence the atrociousness of this scam template. Its a willful betrayal of public trust and abuse of millions of peoples hard earned money- done as an intentional and concerted effort cloaked in virtue.
The problem isn’t the existence of the people trying to help. Its the people that are abusing it.
This is straight out of muslim world subversion 101. Use what we give them to destroy us. Send guys to flight schools to become pilots, then hijack planes and crash them into iconic structures.
They’re using our own government and our own largess to cultivate populations within our borders that wants to destroy everything we stand for.
Our response as a nation is sadly predictable. Change what we stand for! Lock it down. Eliminate the ability. Pass a patriot act. Remove rights. Punish the people who were doing the right thing.
Its kind of sad to see that we’ve been hacked as an entire society. They (who ever/what ever entity it may be) found our knee jerk reflex and they just keep hitting it.
To the question at hand-
We actually are an extraordinarily wealthy nation, and should be able to take care of our citizens. Key word being Our Citizens. We work for it. We do deserve a solid social safety net, and we have the collective power to provide it to eachother.

Here’s a real-time example of how narrative control actually works. Maine’s largest newspaper is currently running cover for Rep. Deqa Dhalaq by claiming she worked at the sister organization of Gateway Community Foundations, the center of known fraud in Maine.
The problem is that she already filed campaign finance reports listing Gateway Community Services as her employer, where she was #2.
It’s really quite simple. Lie, lie, and keep lying while calling anyone who calls out your bullshit a xenophobic racist. It is getting laughably absurd now.

This is where we have failed as Christians. We are called to help those in need, not steal from those who have to help those in need. The ends don’t justify the means. But again, it’s already too late.
And actually our current model where the state controls “charity” is more in line wwith Islam. Likely why the Somalis exploit it so well.

Well 2026 is off to a ridiculous start in Lewiston, which for some reason is skipping the swearing in ceremony for the incoming city council for the first time in history.
This must be a real insult to the Somali community. A warlord drug dealer from Al Shabaab has finally broken through the racism to win a council seat and they won’t even celebrate it like we did in the past.
