Sure, but it’s a silly strawman. Nobody of any influence is suggesting that the problem with immigration is people bringing their own food preparation methods (as long as they aren’t eating the dogs and cats).

If it’s so easy, then do it. The point he seems to be making is that you can’t be American and a Muslim. If assimilation into American culture causes Muslims to abandon their faith, why is that? What is it about American culture that makes it incompatible with this particular religion? Christians don’t leave the religion, if they leave it, because there is something about American culture which is inherently antichristian.

What exactly will this do? Serious question. I’m attending college, and am planning on becoming a public school teacher. If the DOE is abolished, is it clear what changes that will have on me now as a student and later in my career?
