Trump 2025 - Resuming The National Nightmare Of Peace And Prosperity (Part 1)

I knew it that Billy B. was not a made man.
Tommy got it because of the heat from the heist, Jimmy had to cut loose ends.
Henry had no part in it and couldn’t provide anything to put Jimmy away for it.

It was a really, really nice floor to end up on.

That’s from a movie. It’s make believe.

Back to Trump…

What are y’all thinking about Trump ending Birthright Citizenship?

He isn’t going to without a constitutional amendment.

He didn’t end it and can’t end it.

The question is: should it be ended? I don’t believe so and there are more important matters we need to deal with. These politicians don’t need another excuse to avoid working on more pressing issues.

Someone can walk 2 feet over the border, shit out a baby and suddenly they’re all citizens and granted rights they haven’t earned.

Why should this not be ended?

How did you, as a newly shit out baby, earn anything? I don’t think rights are earned, btw.

I didn’t. My parents earned it for me.
My daughter didn’t earn it when she was born. My wife and I earned it for her.

They aren’t free, that’s for sure.

Care to answer the question? or are you just going to do your usual Zecarlo evasion tactics?

I think the point of some of these might be to force it into the courts, but as a concept I think it is needed in 2025.

My grandmother was an anchor baby. She was born in the USA in 1919 but spent her first 6 or 7 years in Poland during the 1920’s, all part of my great-grandparents’ plan to take advantage of the USA’s system. Fortunately for me, they took the right opportunity to get the hell out of Poland before WWII.

It is hard to say I support ending something my family benefitted from, but it is probably a necessary reaction to this absolutely insane flood of people from distant lands we’ve experienced recently. The entire thing is quite mind-boggling to me, but less so as I’ve grown to understand the warped reasoning of Democratic Socialist ideologues who’ve brought this all about.

To bring this idea into clearer focus, I’ll again bring up Lewiston. In about 20 years this city has been demographically transformed through social engineering enabled by taxing the population of Maine and redistributing the resources to people not from Maine in order to entice them to move here, along with federal funds and plenty of murky leftwing funding sources and non profiteers.

The non-US citizens who now live in Maine are then empowered to vote through Democrat activists who literally guide them into committing a felony. Our voting system requires no proof of citizenship or even residence, so illegal immigrants and college students get to choose our leaders with little fear of any felony prosecution. There is also a convenient absence of any way to detect if someone voted illegally, so all we can do is guess how often it happens.

It is, by my reckoning, a shameful and open grift, especially as they organize their campaign against the Voter ID ballot initiative that just passed with ample signatures.

Meanwhile Lewiston Public Schools has gone from less than one percent Muslim to roughly 50 percent Muslim in about 20 years. This did not occur through a religious conversion among Mainers.

It is nothing less than the commoditization of troubled and needy people, brought about through an ever-expanding web of services that must be provided at the expense of the population.

I’m very, very curious to see how the rubber ends up meeting the road on a lot of these issues, assuming Trump continues to deliver on campaign promises.

So did the other kid’s parents by virtue of being here.

Then how much do they cost?

I believe I did. I said I’m not for ending it.

An Originalist’s interpretation of the 14th Amendment could lead to an interpretation that would rectify the birthright citizenship abuse (my word choice.)

The initial purpose of the citizenship clause of the 14th amendment was to ensure the end of slavery, because blacks were being born and deemed “not US citizens” as a means to continue the issues of decades past.
This is very clearly not the application NOW.

The Pew Hispanic Center conducted a study in 2016 that showed aproximately 6% of all births in the US were from illegal immigrants.
2016 had nowhere near the same severity of illegal border crossings as the last few years have.

I do believe that the application of the citizenship clause, in today’s world, is to continue replacing the long-standing US citizens with that of others who do not understand our values and are more malleable to government overreach.
AKA Replacement Theory

I asked “why”.
Curious if you have a good argument against it.

And no, their parents did not “earn” it by walking across a fuckin border illegally to shit out a baby into a country they’ve never contributed to.

How much do “rights” cost? lol

Where does it lead? Once you start taking away rights, it just gets easier to take away more.

You really want to go there? Define contribute because there is an underclass of welfare recipients who have never contributed anything but get a lot more than just citizenship rights from the government.

Describing it this way doesn’t make you sound cool. You’re a parent, an adult, you shouldn’t refer to giving birth this way, it makes you sound like you’re 12. Unless, that’s how you see what your wife went through.

The lol is your way of avoiding answering the question.

JFK, RFK, and MLK Jr. files are now declassified.

Interesting times.

I’m eagerly awaiting whatever gets released, but I’m guessing plenty will be redacted.

These are interesting times, for sure. Whatever we’re in for with this administration, I don’t think it is more of the same we’ve experienced in our lifetimes. Trump also seems a lot calmer this time around.

My guess is names might be redacted, but the overall story of what actually happened will be revealed. (i.e. did “they” really believe Oswald acted alone, was MLK Jr. assasination engineered by rogue gov’t alphabet employees, etc.)

If not, I’ll be very disappointed. And shocked, given Trump gives zero fucks.

^^

Coming withing millimeters of dying will do that to you is my guess.
