I read through about half of that brief you linked before I realized how long it was. I understood the picture it was painting, which was was very arousing of suspicion while also remaining quite murky.
Would I have pardoned the guy? Probably not. All things considered, I have a lot fewer problems with this pardon than I do all of the corrupt bureaucrats and family members/bagmen.

I’ve been poor before, I’m still poor but I’ve lived several years where I was eating nothing but a few slices of bread for lunch or just a PB sandwich at work, no breakfast and I was actually eating home made pasta salad mixed with dark kidney beans for dinner (I’d buy a big can of them for cheap).
This was after my strongman career after Bama and was pres. I was slowly loosing my job, working only 24 hours a week at times. Bad f-ing times…….although it wasn’t all Bama, that chit started under Bush, so I think Bush / Bama / Romney are all the same, can’t stand them all. Bill C. might of actually been the best we had, and nope to Ronnie R. too.
I went from 185# to 155# BW.

Aid stations and stops all along the way. Its not the ardous journey some would like you to believe.

That seems to be a popular view that the Nationalist like. I think it has more to do with the Federalist winning in 1787 than actual attributes. Nationalism has some traits that a Federalist would prefer, but Nationalist are identity and culture driven. Federalist are distribution of power through a government structure driven. Anti-Federalist were State-centric, much more driven by identity and culture (which played out in 1860). If anything, I would say the modern Nationalist are teh Anti-Baptist as culture, identity and preserving the way of life they know is most important. If anything they want little centralized Govt.

“Nationalist” was a clumsy description. They were unitarians(not the religion).
Interesting. They sure did that to the Articles of Confederation! But, they also separated powers and sent all powers not specifically stated back to the States. A compromise? I can see that, that was the order of the day - Compromise on any disagreements to get a Nation born.
Your comment does have me thinking the biggest Unitarian was Lincoln. He really set in motion the Nation we know.
