If they really believe conservatives care about family they’re in for a surprise. Ask them how they feel about maternity leave.
I use the right wing approved term libtard because I don’t want to besmirch the term liberal, old school definition.
Why do people these days always feel it’s necessary to first toss out a “team” related term, then start to ramble vaguely about forboding outcomes based on undefined, mostly bad attributions?
Specifics, it’s not a dirty word. Probably not used in propaganda though.
Ask the poster who first used it.
Because I read his post as a whole.
I’m not trying to cherry pick specific words to score internet points.
I pointed out the fact that Republicans, the family values party, has a problem with maternity leave. I could add how they want to destroy public education with the lie of school choice (the schools choose the students).
Isn’t Maryland one of the most Democrat dominated states?
How’s the Baltimore public education system doing?
And haven’t you written a gazillion words describing how the DEI culture has been egregiously harmful to the public education system?
I’m sure those kids will be welcomed in private schools. I mean, it’s not like they could fix the communities.
It has, but don’t throw the baby out with the bath water.
Please explain. I don’t understand the sum of your posts. Talk to me like I’m Kamalalala DingDong.
If you believe that an environment friendly Supreme Court is necessary for a clean environment, you are clueless of the power of the EPA. I worked 41 years (1971 - 2012) in the electric power generation side of our utility. The EPA has been pushing their weight around me since the early 1970’s.
The EPA’s first trip to our power plant was to decide what effluent streams that they wanted us to report. They asked how low the concentration of each “pollutant” could be. We reported the results that year. Next year they came back and set the goal tighter. We faced fines for a number of different violations. We complied in all, but they were a pain that amounted to nothing more than a reporting responsibility.
Then in December 7, 2009, the EPA officially declared that carbon dioxide was a pollutant. The life breath of all plants is a pollutant. Yes, they did. Have any of you studied some of the Carboniferous Geologic Period to note that there were very high concentrations of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. Plants grew rapidly over those 60 million years, a likely contributor to the vast hydrocarbon fuel sources in the earth.
I believe you can rest at ease that a conservative Supreme Court is pretty much inconsequential as related to the effectiveness of the EPA.
I should include the horror story when the EPA became involved in monitoring mercury in stack effluent. They wanted us to keep the mercury concentration lower than the lower bound of the technical capability to measure mercury. They wanted calibration records monthly.
100%. As a group they will often vote Democrat due to border policy. It’s not uncommon to see dual citizenship along the border, or families spread across Latin American countries. Especially Mexico. Many families along the border have been there since before the modern border existed, and as history transpired they wound up in another country than their cousins. So their vote really is a vote for family values, they see it as potential to reunite. It has nothing to do with globalist world views, economic outcomes or just being liberal and towing a party line.
This is 100% a misread by the DNC as they push increasingly progressive social policies and roll open borders in. Hispanics hold extremely traditional values from gender roles to religion and work ethic.
See, that is a post about government and politics that is clearly explained and backed up with an example of what you’re talking about.
I will continue to call vaguely-defined dire scenarios political gypsy curses because that’s exactly what they’ve always been. I wish I could say I coined the term but I heard it on a Rogan podcast and I think it was comedian Tim Dillon who first used it. It’s just so spot-on.
When you understand that leftists, modern progressives, Democratic socialists and any of their other fellow travelers who defy all political labels are religious people, it all makes a lot more sense. It is perhaps the most faith-based belief system that’s prominently occupying the world stage at this moment.
Communism has always been the opiate of the intellectuals, and it has always had prophecies. The ideas have been recycled and refined into today’s modern faith, but the religion continues to cling to its prophets and their visions.
Did tighter limits on pollutants cause any issues or added expense at the power plant?
Keeping pollutants within the constraints was easy, as we were running as efficiently as we could. That alone minimizes violations. But the required reporting and monitoring was a capital, manpower, and maintenance cost. EPA strongly preferred continuous monitoring. Those instruments get pricey. And they wanted one for every pollutant on every effluent stream.
A people with pride, work ethic, strong family values and a hardy relationship with the catholic/christian religion.
Gee, if they were white, they’d be considered white supremacists by half the country. It’s more surprising to me that this demographic hasn’t shifted more right, IMO.
Open wider.
Yet, their countries are shitholes.
I had a blast living next to and working with a bunch of Puerto Ricans when I lived in downtown Allentown, PA 24 years ago. We had most things in common but we had differences in accents, food, ball-busting ways and the like. For instance, I preferred my retiree sedan '94 Buick LeSabre to a heavily-modified Honda Civic, most of which were slower than my Buick.
Dems are beginning to lose the Muslims, too. There is just so much about their ideology that is completely incompatible with monotheistic religions and even non-religious people who are still cultural adherents.
State-dependent non-citizens aren’t about to begin registering to vote for Republicans in Maine, but it would seem as though Maine Dems are beginning to lose the still-important US citizen vote.
I heard a lot of those from people who feared Harris winning.
Must you be such an insufferable cunt all the time?
If you knew what you were talking about, I wouldn’t point out your ignorance.
