Trump 2025 - Resuming The National Nightmare Of Peace And Prosperity (Part 1)

That’s even worse than Jay Jones, the democrat who won the AG position for Virginia! Of course, he only texted about wanting to put bullets in his opponents wife and children, and following that up with urinating on their graves. BUT, he did apologize after his texts were flagged and made public, so, I mean, that should make it all better. I’m absolutely floored that democrats/people/anyone could or would vote for someone who said such insane/disgusting things! But I guess I shouldn’t be, given the current mental state of democrats in the country nowadays. Only a few years ago, I think that having such atrocities revealed would be a death sentence for a political candidate running for office, but not anymore. I find myself wondering almost everyday now….”what in the hell has happened to democrats’ mindset in this country? Why have they become so angry, so bitter, so violent, so illogical? This is like nothing I have ever witnessed in my entire life. Is there even a way for people to come back from such irrational, hateful politics?” Man, it’s really grim.

If every room you walk in smells like shit, you need to check your own shoes.

Those who drafted that referendum/bill made the scope far too wide. The wording leaves too many holes to be twisted, picked apart and prodded. That needs to be separated into several ballot questions instead of one.

  1. Require voters to show voter ID?
  2. Prohibit request for absentee ballots by phone or family members?
And so on like that. Narrow the scope and they can’t turn this into “Republicans want to keep your elderly disabled Grandma from voting”

Well, if we look at NYC, one of the stories was young women who voted something like 80 percent for Mamdani. I suspect Maine’s numbers are similarly skewed.

Socialism repackaged yet again, now with a side of Jihad, sure feels good to vote for, especially when you believe you are fighting Nazis.

I agree. They went for a home run when they should’ve gotten a runner on base. My recommendation to the Voter ID for ME team was to focus on the most glaring weakness: the fact that ANYONE can walk up to a voting registration table with no documentation and register via sworn affidavit.

Make them defend the indefensible.

“…and make other changes to our elections?” was on the ballot? Who came up with that ambiguous question?

Our Democratic Socialist Secretary of State and gubernatorial candidate worded that question. Same lady who tried to kick Trump off the ballot.

She should be blue-papered for real. She has serious issues and the craziest thing is that immigrants listen to her and people donate money to her. Imagine the wokest white woman possible who is also very active in local politics.

I mean, she literally called the cops on the cops last night for not arresting someone, and now she’s twice as upset that the school committee candidate and the cops who wouldn’t arrest him aren’t under arrest, while being firmly in the ACAB camp. You really can’t make this kind of stuff up.

We did get one good conservative elected to city council at least. It won’t be enough to get any policy changes, but at least he’ll have a chance to be a voice of reason.

Sadly, it is reasonable to expect more of the same that’s plagued this city. More troubled, needy people will arrive, some on their own, others sent from other parts of New England. More shootings are likely. More needles everywhere. More mental patients roaming the streets out of their minds on drugs. More functionally illiterate kids being handed diplomas. More dangerous and disruptive kids being given chance after chance in the public schools. Fewer middle class families being created or locating here, especially with the closure of the best private school in the area.

Normal stuff in a blue city these days.

I wonder the same thing.

I mean, who HASN’T been tempted to beat and suffocate a Canadian tourist at the beach? Just the thought of them sitting there, smugly eating their irritating Canadian snacks makes me feel a little murderous.

No mention of party affiliation

Right? Practically everyone in Bangor has been addicted to hard drugs, too. I may go pick up a boofing kit later today, distributed free-of-charge in most Maine cities, then see what doing drugs up my ass is like.

That’s actually law in Maine. The idea, which I think is a bad one, is that municipal elected officials are supposed to be non-partisan civil servants concerned with things like public works, licensing, etc. Most towns don’t allow listing party affiliation It’s completely ridiculous, given that even local politics are HIGHLY partisan in Maine, and plays a key role in getting stuff like free boofing kits funded so you can shoot drugs up your ass when you don’t have any veins left to plunge.

I would say she’s firmly within the Democratic Socialist camp of the Democratic party. Anything resembling moderate Democrats are going the way of the dodo. The DSA is now the mainstream in Maine, and New York City as well.

He’s accomplished more in just 10 months than most presidents in 4 or 8 years. Do you really think Kamala would have been better? I’ve never claimed he’s 100% perfect, but based upon your previous left-leaning posts I can see why you would post something so weak. Or is his unpolished speaking style too mean for you? Maybe you’d rather have Biden in for another 4 years? Sometimes in politics it’s not the BEST person, but it’s choosing one who has more positives than negatives….I’m still trying to think of even one positive about his competition/Kamala.

That was a weird tangent.

Doesn’t your town supply free boofing kits? It’s totally normal here in Maine, and not weird at all.

Technically, based upon the title of the thread, it wasn’t OFF topic. And we were discussing the results of last night’s election results. Do you think a candidate stating he wanted to put bullets in the head of his opponent’s wife/kids is okay? Obviously it is not, but the fact that he still ran, and people still supported/voted for him, is really, really a bad sign of the state of where we’re at in this country with regards to politics. Win no matter what.

Hey, @twojarslave , what’s the status of that one woman/thing blue haired teacher in Maine, you previously talked about her. I can’t remember her crazy claim to fame, but I believe she did get at least suspended. I think she posted something really wild. Know who I’m talking about? Sadly, I know there are probably a lot of ones I could be talking about haha.

The one who called for Trump’s death? She is no longer teaching in Waterville, but we don’t know if she resigned or was fired.

Speaking of teachers in Maine, a Maine principal is under fire for wearing an ICE costume to a private party this past Halloween.

And it begins

If enough people flee the city, it might actually bring down the rents even if they do rent control.

I will be very curious to see the number of people who leave NY during Mamdani’s term.

And that principal’s costume? Yeah, not a good idea seeing as how YOU’RE A FRIGGIN PRINCIPAL! Idiot. It’d be one thing if he was just some dude, but not a principal. I’d like to ask ms. blackgirlinmaine why he “looks so much like an ICE agent?” Is it because he’s the devil- an evil white male? I think you could put just about anyone in that exact costume and they would look like an ICE agent because……..that’s the point of the costume, dumbass!
