Those would be interesting starter tats for a 53 year old.
Then again, my one older brother retired from the Navy, Then started getting a bunch of tats.

Got my first one underage at Trader Bob’s in St Louis. 30 years later and still going
Figured I’d get a cool tat when I completed BUDS.
Its pretty clear how that went now, ain’t it?
When did you go through ? I thought I recognized your feet
I didnt! I was in a coma from a very very bad party trick when the recruiters came to ship me off to boot camp.
Never too late
. I dunno. That last heart attack took the fight out of this dog. At least those aspirations of supersoldier can be put to rest.
Locally though, I’m the baddest dude in the ethnic foods aisle. Get between me and House Of Tsang stir fry sauces and the FA/FO ratio goes exponential.
Likely ingesting copious soy at the china buffet
I like to tell myself that its my ridiculously high testosterone levels causing the heart muscle to hypertrophy, creating a restriction of the circumflex where it passes through the atrioventricular groove.
But!!!
It “probably” wasn’t. ![]()
[Insert “shoulda used rir of 3 instead of maxing out all of the time” here. ]
House made egg rolls ??
Oh, so much better! My neighbors moms recipe from the Philippines.
Oh man. Crunchy delicious heaven in every bite!
The elections haven’t been called yet, but the early numbers appear to indicate that Maine rejected voter ID and will be enacting a rather radical radical red flag law.
In local news, it appears as though our most conservative city council member was unseated by a guy who has been credibly accused of membership in Al Shabab, claims to live in a condemned apartment building that was the site of a meth bust over a year ago, accepted $65,552 of mass shooting donations collected under the pretense that they would support victims and family members, and has actually lived in a different town for the last year.
That’s the state of Maine politics right now, where anyone can register to vote with no accompanying documentation whatsoever, simply by swearing that all of the information is true on a voter registration form.
Send help.
After moving from a non voter id state to a voter id state, it showed me just how simple a process it really is. Show up with your voter card and show your drivers license or other form of government issued ID. If someone is against voter ID they’re either truly ignorant or have a sinister motive.
Red flag law, boo. Is Maine still constitutional carry or have they managed to ruin that too?
Goodbye NYC…too bad i never got to visit
We’re still constitutional carry for now, although that has been in Maine Democrats’ sights as well. It is an easy policy for them to blame our shooting epidemic on.
Voter ID was crushed by a nearly 2-1 margin, which is a bad sign of how easily people are manipulated into supporting lunacy. This state is rigged to the gills AND full of people who like it that way.
Maine’s only hope is federal intervention with voter id, and I’m pretty sure that would only apply to federal elections.
Very discouraging results last night.
In a somewhat humorous event that symbolizes Maine politics, a local activist and regular public comment speaker who is bat shit crazy freaked out when a school committee candidate said hi to her.
She demanded the cops arrest him for cyberstalking, which she accuses anyone who uses social media of. Then, when the cops wouldn’t arrest him, she called the cops on the cops, filmed it, and posted it to social media.
She is currently fantasizing about red flagging people, and my guess is that she will try very hard to do that.
In the old days that type of hysteria would be treated by blowing smoke up her butthole and sending her “off to the country” for some rest.
Alas, we’ve strayed far from the path.
Has anybody tried hitting her?
According to her at least, yes. Every man who has been in a relationship with her has tried hitting her.
In another amusing but still grim sign, another one of Lewiston’s crazy liberal cat ladies actually followed up on my recommendation to ask the registration clerk if it was possible to register with no ID whatsoever. He explained it was, which she seems to believe only applies to people previously registered, and she triumphantly shared the interaction on the mayor’s page.
There is actually a coordinated campaign to keep the fact that anyone can register and vote with no documentation whatsoever obscured. Maine Public just posted the lie that ID is required when registering. It isn’t. A sworn statement will do just fine.
The city of Bangor may have out done Lewiston yesterday. Angela Walker won her city council seat. She is a convicted killer who beat a Canadian tourist and suffocated him with sand at Old Orchard Beach and pled guilty to manslaughter.
They also elected an open communist to city council.
