I’m on the fence about this latest Predator film, and I still haven’t seen Prey. Can a primitive girl actually best a Predator in real life, or is that just wokeness in film?
In local news, I don’t normally get worked up by social media, but I’m worked up about social media tonight after a Lewiston City Councilor and his henchmen are out in full-force to obfuscate the fact that you can register to vote with no documentation whatsoever in Maine, simply by signing a sworn affidavit. Tomorrow is the day for Mainers to vote on Voter ID, so it unsurprising to be confronted by my area’s most woke politicians and their cat-lady henchmen when saying true things.
If you don’t believe me, perhaps you’ll believe the Maine ACLU.
I absolutely annhialated a local guy who was running as republican but speaks fluent grifter.
He crafted a very good strawman using someone (unverified person) elses exceptionally flawed county database search request (foia) to substantiate something that he wanted others to believe, which was not true.
He blazed it right past everybodys noses and all they could do was laugh about the spelling, not realizing how important it is in those types of database searches.
When I enquired about how he used an invalid records search to validate a statement which supports his point of contention, I was ignored on his campaign page and kicked off of another related page/group.
So I laid it all out on the 2 most popular community pages where the general public could see it, bold faced and completely out of the grifters control.
Apparently, this acted as a laxative of sorts, cuz the guy actually looked up my phone number on the local registration roles (public info) and called me this morning blubbering a massive sob story and trying to make nice-nice.
Dude grossly underestimated my intelligence and abilities. Shame on him. I left it hang for a few more hours after the nice-nice phone call and removed it. I don’t want to destroy the guy, I just want him to fuck off.
And actually, if he had somehow managed to explain or respond in any significant way, I wouldn’t even have done it at all.
And that wasn’t even nearly as brutal as the pantsing I did to the current township board of supervisors over a public safety issue concerning school busses.

Speaking of white people, Dick Cheney has passed away. He is one of the few politicians I have disagreed with for my whole adult life.
His endorsement of Harris was a major relief for me when I confidently voted for Trump for a third time.

Just like Arnold in the 1st movie, the girl in Prey can’t match the alien phyisically, or with firepower. So she has to learn its ways and use cunning techniques to defeat it.
