Professors play poker with Monopoly money.
I think he actually has successfully incorporated a lot of left/centerists that have been left in the lurch since about the Clinton era, and his numbers and areas of success and improved voter participation will show that.
Just because Musk knows how to make money doesn’t mean he understands the economy.
And those in government use our money.
We can hope.
It seems like Kamala is conceding. She seems like she could use a week long bender of constant drinking.
Is this going to be the first presidential election of my adult life that doesn’t feature accusations of cheating by the losers? 2020 was the first one I could vote in.
But won’t put that belief to the test.
The country was opened already when Biden took office was it not ? All the lock downs happened under trump.
Biden likely would have done something similar fiscally to trump first time around, the point is that both of them spent like wild which contributed to the inflation we saw - of which only Biden is getting blamed because he was there when it happened. If trump had a second term it would have been his inflation to take the heat for
Global supply chain interruption combined with massive spending meant inflation no matter who was in office, the actual numbers of exactly how much either contributed are never going to be 100% known
No, because trump was accusing Philly of “massive cheating” yesterday
I’m accusing my local government of cheating too, because they are.
I meant to clarify “accusations of cheating by the losers”.
A quick recap for everyone…
2000 selected not elected when The Supreme Court stopped the FL recount.
2004 Diebold voting machine hacking in Ohio.
2008 Birther
2012 Birther
2016 Russia Russia Russia
2020 Mail in voting scams, last minute changes to rules, ballot harvesting and jurisdictions like Maine that empower noncitizens to vote through a complete absence of process security.
You are probably right, especially after Katrina. I was surprised at the number of conservatives that I knew who thought the government should bail out those people who bought houses “below sea level.” Where did “buyer beware” go?
You need to read a book if you think that is what I am talking about

Many cities stayed under lockdown. Biden never pushed them to open.
All the lock downs happened under trump.
Of course. But “started” is a better description.

I do wonder if trump will do anything different now that he isn’t trying to seek re-election
Question for the group: Do you think the idea that he won’t be back for a 3rd time and doesn’t have to pander for votes moderates him to the middle a bit or pushes him further extreme ?
I like seeing all of the pants shitting from my friends on social media, as they post from their secure work places and comfortably middle/upper middle class homes, as if a new paradigm just emerged some time last night that changes everything.
It hasn’t. Nothing has changed in the real lives of people. Today is just like yesterday and the day before.
The only thing that actually changed is how they feel.

I think it moderates him to the middle a bit. He’s actually a centerist by todays standards anyways. As others have said, and I agree with, He’s a 90’s democrat all day.
The only thing that actually changed is how they feel.
And in four years they get to live through meaningless bullshit all over again. I always find the gloating funny because it’s as if people forget the tears they shed when their guy lost.
Educate me oh wise one that speaks as clear as mud
