Even local libs are saying it now, the usual suspects who always believe anything bad about Trump instantly, with no skepticism whatsoever.
It is certainly a predictable reaction, and there is absolutely no way Musk did not anticipate it.
Why would he want to pressure them to release the files? It would implicate many people. Left, Right, all industries, all sectors. Trump has been quiet about the Epstein files. What does he gain? What does it have to do with the new bill?
Like you said it is a predictable reaction from the Dems but, what started Elon up was the bill.
Well, there’s obviously a reason they haven’t been released yet. I don’t know what it is, but now Democrats are joining the chorus for them to be released. That’s a good thing, IMO.
It’s also possible that Trump hates the bill for the same reasons Elon does but doesn’t reflect this in his public words.
I’m not convinced Elon is doing any of this for personal gain. His goal might possibly be saving the country so his kids and their kids don’t grow up in a collapsed society of debt slaves governed by gay racist socialists.

It is not like Republicans were/are screaming for them to be released and the people who were assigned to release them seem to now be controlled. I don’t see how some on the Left wanted them released does anything.

I’ve been listening to a long Rogan interview of Musk from Feb 28th this week, and it’s been interesting coming in at the same time for me as the above. I think Musk is genuinely morally outraged.
One of the posts I shared was Rep. Eric Swalwell. There’s only a few Democrats more prominent than him. The other one appears to be a DNC run account.

Really? I’m from CA and have never heard of him. I could not pick him out of a line up. I do not think he is well known at all. But that makes sense, the ones with real power were partying with Epstein. Just like those on the Right.
That DNC account is probably run by 20 yr old assistants.
I want the files released but, I do not see it happening and I do not think this is about that that. It is not some chess move. But here is to hoping.
Swallwell is a pretty prominent Democrat. The DNC is also representative of all Democrats, so I’d say they are pretty prominent too. I’m not sure who else you had in mind. Bill Clinton or Barak Obama?
I suspect the smarter Dems are judging the situation now before they begin the hysteria, but the hysteria is already brewing among the base of Democrats who will 100 percent latch on to this anti-Trump narrative, just like every other anti-Trump narrative that gets put in front of them.
One of the things I found curious is that the editor of The Maine Wire, which is very much funded by an organization that’s an extension of the Republican Party, is stating the same thing.
If this were Kayfabe, as I suspect it might be, it would be in the interest of MAGA to do everything possible to make it seem as real as possible, including mobilizing Republican assets to hype up the feud.
Of course, it could also be that Musk and Trump had a genuine falling out, and it is even possible that Trump is a child predator.
I suppose we’ll all get to find out together, or not.
Even if Trump is on the list as a predator…those files need to be released and everyone that commited the horrendous crimes of child sex/trafficking needs to be severely punished

I’m not a totally flag waving maga bro, but even if I was, I and most people I know (i hope) have a very hard, clear line there.
And once somebody crosses it, thats it. You get what ever is handed to you, with no sympathy or remorse.
Given EVERYTHING they have thrown at Trump over the last decade that turned out to be complete bullshit, I have a hard time believing they have been sitting in the smoking gun this whole time.

Which coincidentally Rogan and Musk talked about in the 2/28 podcast. Along with Musk making the comment that if he talked honestly about the corruption, he genuinely believed he’d be on a kill list.
Also, they talked (honestly on Musk’s part? Who knows) about the absent always-about-to-be-released Epstein files, and Musk denied knowing more than everyone else. Has he gotten damning info since? Again, who knows.
