I’m watching Trump’s cabinet meeting. I’m honestly surprised he doesn’t make each of them kiss the ring before talking.
That’s because he’s trans, an oppressed victim of the white male-centric society. Your privilege is showing here.
If it were up to them he wouldn’t even have been charged.
You got a link of that shitfest? I didn’t feel like going through their threads but I did come into this one:
I asked them ‘‘I don’t get what is the problem, in Europe we cannot vote without our ID with photo, why is that a problem in the US?’’, let’s see if they have an answer, I’m kind of curious.
I recently discovered Reddit when Reddit began fucking with my neighbors. I was always aware of it but had no idea it was such an open sewer.
Here’s the shitfest about Buffalo Bill in the women’s prison.
What if the laws in Europe changed, and you needed More than your photo ID to vote.
Speaking of Voter ID, our SoS comes up with some pretty extraordinary ways to explain why Maine, and not the rest of the world, has the ideal system of voting.
I don’t believe it is a coincidence that Maine and Minnesota have the two highest official voter turnouts in the entire nation. I haven’t looked into Minnesota much, but Maine is without a doubt rigged to the gills, with no way of possibly measuring the extent with the lack of information they require.
Yeah but he lived and learned. They ain’t getting him again, not this time.
It’s mire or less what I expected. I have to say, I don’t know anyone like that in real life.
A couple people there are making some rational points there, though. Going against the current.
I dunno… i think proving you are who you are is a reasonable policy whether you’re voting for elections or taking s flight.
I don’t see a reason to require more than what is required.
OK! As you thought it through, you caught on almost instantly.
You don’t see a reason to require more than what is required.
That’s the exact argument that opponents of voter ID in the US are making. If it’s not required now, why require it?
I know some pretty woke people, many of whom assumed I was one of them for a long time because I rarely spoke about politics in normal conversation. It really wasn’t a thing around Maine like it is today.
When politics happens to you like it has to Lewiston, it tends to come up a lot more.
Even if you don’t believe anything I’ve said about how you can register to vote in Maine by affidavit with no documentation, or even a utility bill, you should at least be able to acknowledge that a system like that doesn’t inspire trust.
From my point of view, sowing distrust is one of the secondary goals of not having Voter ID, and it works. I don’t trust the system in Maine at all, and I genuinely believe many or perhaps even most of our politicians won through illegitimate, non-citizen votes.
This is not a fringe opinion.
Well, if it ain’t broken, don’t fix it.
But what if it is broken?
With all the interest in Voter Fraud, somebody could win a Pulitzer prize and become Maga News TV Personality Royalty by exposing illegal voting in Maine.
When can we expect it?
Correct.
You put on a pair of sandals, kick some ass, and just like that everyone is calling you imperatore.
Ain’t for sissies.
The only way to prove it would be to pass voter ID and examine the different trends.
The Maine Wire is working on connecting the dots through inference on other government records, but a simple examination of voting data has absolutely no means by which a fraudulent vote can be detected. If @darnell_becker travels to Lewiston, says he’s Darnell Becker and lives at the homeless shelter, he will be able to vote minutes later and the vote will be counted hours later.
That’s all the information to examine, there is no way to say that he’s not actually a citizen.
What people really seem to struggle understanding is that Maine’s system, as it currently exists, has no mechanism to detect fraud. That’s the way it is designed.
As a citizen, I cannot demand to see someone’s ID just because they have a translator with them at the voting booth. Maine also makes the FOAA requests it would take to even TRY to do something like that prohibitively expensive for someone like me.
I wouldn’t go to it for good political discourse but I made an account a few months ago after never really checking it out and have found some great communities based around appliance repair, tree trimming, literature, and underground rap music. It’s served the ultimate purpose of what I believe the internet is for, while also containing the worst of what the internet has to offer.
Yes I noticed that as well. All of the non-political stuff seems similar to t-nation and I didn’t mean to shit on the entire concept.
When people self-select a specific interest group it tends to bring out more good ideas and less hate. I don’t genuinely hate sumo deadlifters enough to compare them to Hitler, but I will compare them to Joe Biden and other dirty cheaters.
I’m already getting some great ideas from Reddit.
Well, today is the day for Maine to comply with Title IX, and Democrats still seem to believe we’ve got it right here in the New Deep South of the northeast.
It is considered a human right for a dude to say he’s a chick, use the girls locker room while girls are also changing, shower with them, then clobber them in sports competition.
They lied the entire way here, telling everyone that no such thing was going to happen and that adopting transgenderism was just about acceptance and suicide prevention.
Maine Democrats are in a weird mental place right now, that’s for sure. They either ignore you or try to silence you, all while calling you bad names. They never explain themselves or answer any straightforward questions about anything really, but especially trans stuff. We keep making the news for this crap, too.
I don’t want to be friends with this dude, but he’s been doing a good job of raising hell in local politics.
Exhibit A … far too many females have advanced brain rot
That didn’t take very long. A rare example of common sense.
