In Trump news, he is now making the argument that Biden’s last-minute pardons are invalid due to being signed by an actual automatic pen, with no evidence that Biden was even fully aware. That will be an interesting one to watch play out in the courts. I think there’s a strong argument for it, but that’s out of my depth.
Maine continues to be in the spotlight, with Laurel Libby gathering a lot of attention for being censured by Maine Democrats. She filed a lawsuit in Federal District court, which all Maine judges recused themselves from for good reason. The parent of the “doxxed” minor works for them. This moves it to Rhode Island, where a Biden appointee who says she’s totally not a Marxist activist judge is set to hear the case.
Lewiston continues to be dysfunction central. Our newspaper, The Sun Journal, is literally a progressive Soros newspaper after being bought out by his nonprofit “trust for local news” a few years ago, and the fact that they are even covering the violence in Lewiston is too much for these radical cultists.
This email was sent to Lewiston City Council this weekend by a mid-level city employee who just seems to be a damage control artist for the Dems. She also runs the city’s facebook page, which must take all of 10 minutes per day to do. She also doesn’t live in Lewiston, and is only here to get paid. We’re confident this was sent at the Mayor’s behest, who doesn’t actually have much power in Lewiston. The City Council does.

Adding DEI to the urls of black service members, including one awarded a medal of honor, is not disgraceful? I’m supposed to believe that was some automated process not programmed by an actual person?

We have different understandings of what the story is saying.
Both statements said that content removed in error would be corrected, but did not clarify whether the page was deliberately taken down.
Moment after that, the story was restored to the Department’s website. The term “dei” is no longer in the URL.
To me, it sounds like the original URL contained DEI within it.
The URL was likely automatically invalidated because it contained this acronym.
After recognizing some of the errant URL removals, the web page was reinstated, without DEI in the URL.
I think the disgusting part is that DEI was in the original URL, as it was clearly put there by someone with an agenda.
It seems we agree on this part, I just think we had a different understanding of what happened in the article.
Or maybe we thought the same thing happened and we were always aligned… text-only communication is great, isn’t it (sarcasm)?

I think something that is telling is the difference between college men and women. The men show some diversity in opinions, they are not monolithic. They also have a lower opinion of Dems than Republicans. The women show a hive mentality. This shows why women have so much power on campuses. They are over half the student body and all think the same. The men, who are a minority, are also hobbled by not all thinking the same. These women also end up professors so you can see how they have a strong influence on how students end up thinking.

I actually agree with this judge. I think Trump had every right to deeper them for being illegal, but no right to send them to prison in a foreign country with no hearing. I’m pretty confident some of them weren’t gang members.
I wonder how much sending them to foreign prisons was about sending them there vs sending a message that we aren’t playing.
