Wouldn’t it technically be up to El Salvador whether they are imprisoned or not, after being deported from the USA to El Salvador? I’m sure the understanding was there, but I don’t think POTUS has the sort of judge, jury, and sentencing powers in foreign countries.
I don’t see this judge’s order holding up. It is an old law, but still the law.
In more Maine news that just keeps coming in this most historic of times, our tax dollars seem to have funded a Maine nonprofit owner’s Somalian militia, necessary for his election campaign for the presidency of Jubaland, Somalia.
Even worse, this man’s nonprofit was somehow awarded over $66,000 that were donated in support of Lewiston’s mass shooting in October of 2023. He is but one of many immigrant and prisoner nonprofits who were granted those funds.
If you’re ever wondering what “equity” actually means, it just means grifting, which is the core of Socialism. If you so much as question why this is happening, you won’t get a clear explanation. You’ll get called racist, fascist, Nazi, or white supremacist.
Democrats are guided by the cult of Democratic Socialism, an inbred ideological sibling of every other other form of Socialism, including National Socialism. After living with it, I can smell the stench a mile away.

When I moved here I used to joke that Maine was like the deep south of the far north, since once you get away from the population centers it’s basically hillbillies. My stock Toyota Tundra double cab 5.7L V8 4x4 is an unusually small pickup truck in places like Oxford County.

Our real-world outcomes are even worse than the heavily-manipulated statistics suggest.
We’re handing out diplomas to illiterate children who cannot perform basic math, comprehend basic science, or do much of anything except the bare minimum standard, which continues to get lowered by Maine Democrats.
It’s mind-boggling, and putting it into clear words and a coherent narrative has been a challenge for me. I’m still a long ways a way from submitting a book for publication, but it is progressing.
Meanwhile in the South, Real socialist stuff like publicly funded college, insurance for all pregnant chicks and collectively owned dams and reservoirs are making life better and better.
Social programs are compatible with core American ideas like equal protection under the law, freedom of speech, and legal immigration. Socialism introduces incompatible ideas by design. That’s the defining characteristic from what I can observe. DEI, open borders, and transgenderism are the main ones.
Socialism also favors social programs, but only as a means to control society. That’s been the whole game in this most recent verse in the same old song of social justice, social progress, and social transformation.
Import a new voting block, bribe them with tax dollars in the form of social programs, empower them to vote, secure one party rule.
Then the revolution can really begin, and aww shucks, the workers still won’t sieze the means of production.
They never have, which makes every socialist revolution not REAL socialism.

I do. I’ve read some stories about a few of them. Fathers, husbands. Here illegally for sure. No other criminal record. I have no problem sending the gang members there. But it definitely bothers me that these other guys have been sent there. Maybe I’m sensitive because my wife is in Federal Prison. I know how fucked up our system is. I can’t imagine how bad it is in a El Salvadoran prison mainly holding MS-13 members.
