TRT without HCG causing varicoceles

Hey all,

I was on TRT(Test E) at 85mg for about 9 months. I didn’t have HCG(at the time my doc said it wasn’t available from FDA). I have since developed bilateral varicoceles that are causing fertility issues along with ED and atrophy. Wanted to get your thoughts if TRT without HCG caused lasting damage and if there’s anything I could do to reverse it.

I work in health care as you can tell. I’ve done many testicular ultrasound evaluations. the issue that you Is not that uncommon. You have increased blood supply to your testicles that increase the temperature by one or two degrees which can cause fertility issues. You have to consider protocols such as cooler temperatures for the scrotal area. you can use clomiphene AKA clomid as A luteinizing hormone to increase testicular signaling. Surgery can also be considered by the urologist if indeed you’re having fertility issues.

Thank you for your response and all of the info. I’m currently on Clomid and going to have another SA within 3 months. My previous SA identified low morphology and motility. My Urologist recommended microscopic varicoceletomy but I have heard results usually improve SA parameters for about 3-6 months but sometimes they can revert back to pre-surgery numbers. Also have seen several people still in a lot of pain a year after surgery but know that it all depends on your surgeon.

Any recommendations you have on supplements to possibly reverse varicoceles? I never had them my entire life until I took test without HCG and experienced atrophy. Appreciate the help!
