TRT with Hypothyroidism

Sup

I have hypothyroidism since I was 15, now Iam 30 and this year is worst of my life feeling-wise. Zero energy, zero motivation, low libido, bad moods, little bit of ED, sweating and feeling hot all time, in short all of the symptoms of low T, BUT these symptoms are also very similiar for thyroid diseases so Iam bit confused here and not sure about TRT. Here is what I did:

Had my thyroid checked last month, everything OK, I take 75mg levothyroxine everyday.
Had my TST checked = 440 ng/dL (15.29 nmol/L) so lower but in norm.
I showed these to my doc and he said he cant do anything about it bc its in the norm…

So do you have any experience with case like me? I can get cypionate/enanthate for fairly cheap here, HCG also bc I want to have kids in the future. Should I just try it for 1-2 months and see how I would feel? Will my tst go back to normal if I decide to stop?

Thanks in advance

Normal doesn’t always mean healthy, you have to optimize the levels the truly reap all the benefits of therapy.

Free T is where the rubber meets the road. So if your doctor didn’t check it then he’s not someone who you want to manage your TRT.

Most men will go back to baseline after stopping TRT.

This may not be long enough to dial in your protocol, it can take months to figure things out and up to 1 year to see maximum benefits on TRT.

Steady states on cypionate or ethanate takes 4-6 weeks, if you change the dosage it starts all over again.

If your thyroid is not optimized, then you will be struggle to feel good because adequate thyroid hormone is needed to metabolize testosterone

I think of this as a gray area. Yeah, TRT would likely benefit you, but could you also clean things up a bit to get that up to say 550ng and be fine. Could go either way. If it was me, I would lean towards TRT
