TRT Update on My Progress Part 2

I posted the first of last month about my progress with TRT so far. I’m writing this to give another update.

After around a 4 month break from TRT (money probs) I started out last summer with 100mg/wk (50mg on Sundays and Thursdays). I felt a little different, but not much.

My dose was upped to 140mg/wk (70mg on Sundays and Thursdays). My results were very good. I felt tons of energy even after working a lot of overtime and my sex drive was strong for the first time in almost forever!!

Each period above lasted approx 1.5 - 2 months depending on when I could get a follow-up appointment.

During my November bld test my Testosterone was 923 and my E2 was 52. Surprisingly I actually felt really good. I guess my E2 was slowly on the rise creeping up on me (as expected).

My Doctor Prescribed Arimidex for my high E2 but Instead of filling my prescription I ordered some Chemone Anastrozole. It took me about a week to get around to ordering it and another week for it to come in. By that time I guess my E2 was getting even higher because I started losing my sex drive again. Strangely my energy stayed pretty decent. I assume that if I had not added Anastrozole when I did that the energy to would have gone away.

At my last office visit the first part of November, my Doctor also prescribed HCG 250IU EOD.

Once my Anastrozole came in, I started taking 3 drops every night under my tongue (making sure NOT to touch the dropper!). HCG 250IU SQ EOD as soon as I woke up, and 100mg/wk of Testosterone (50mg on Sundays and Thursdays) in my upper outer quads as soon as I woke up.

Yes, I decreased my Testosterone back to 100mg/wk thinking the HCG might increase my blood concentration a little. If not it’s easy to go back to 140mg/wk. My doctor said he that he didn’t mind either way I went. I don’t want to take any more than I have to. The less I take to get me in the upper quartile the longer that bottle will last. I went back to school so I am watching my money!!

I took all my injections with a 29 gauge 0.5 inch insulin syringe.

After about 2 weeks I started feeling a lot better again.

My last bld test, which was on December 16th, was the best so far. My testosterone was 1095 and my E2 was 19.3.

When I first went to my doctor a year ago he was giving me 200mg every 2 weeks of testosterone. I had read Dr. Shippen’s book and had just started reading on here. It was a learning process for me and my doctor. He was very nice and was taking in every article I printed from here. He said it all made since and wanted to try it. Basically it has taken around a year to get where I am now with my bld test results and feeling a lot better. I did take 4 months off due to a lay off from work.

The protocol that I am using is of course the one posted by KSMAN titled “TRT: Protocol for Injections”.

I guess the HCG must have boosted my testosterone a little since it didn’t go down any, even though I decreased the amount from 140/wk to 100/wk.

Here are some of my bld test results since I restarted last summer. I had a lot of other test like a metabolic panel, PSA etc Everything else was always in the normal range except my LDL being just a little high.

The main things I have noticed over the last few months as stated above is that I have more energy and my sex drive actually exists.

What I have been noticing in the last month is that fat on my stomach and around my sides seems to be shrinking. I haven’t even been working out. I know that’s bad but I have worked so much over time the last few months I was lucky to sleep 5 hours a night. I have even been eating out a lot more than usual since I don’t have much time to cook. That’s really wild seeing that I have never been able to lose fat in those areas before. I am 6â??3â?? approx 190. I am slim an athletic built but my stomach and sides have always remained. I’m attempting to work out again so I hope I can make them go away for good!
