I just happened to be passing through, and there was an awesome classic car show on Friday night and Oktoberfest on Saturday. I had meat on a stick, I had meat in a bowl, I had pie in a cup, cheesecake on a stick, and 3 different pulled pork sandwiches. I was in heaven.
The people were typically 1) obese, or 2) skinny fat with huge guts. I saw obese women with whippet-thin dudes, fat dudes with meth-head girlfriends, and fat couples but almost no one in between except for the Xavier HS football coach (Go Hawks!). Even the teen girls had an extra 15 lbs on them. It’s not a good look.
Great town and I had a lot of fun.
