TRT Stable - Help With Understanding How to Blast on My Protocol

Hi Guys,

I am 38 years old and I have some lose mild loose skin (mostly on my abdomen) as a result of being obese 5 years ago at 135kg (297lbs). I have been training hard for 5 years now. I started the year at 110kg (242lbs) and am now 95kg (209lbs).

I started my TRT regime around 3 months ago and my bloods now look good. I am just above the normal range of free T and my doc is happy. TRT has made a big difference in my physique as I am now able to cut weight without losing substantial strength or size.

I know I have a way to go still, but I am trying hard. Here is my latest pic:

MY LIFTS:
Bench:
135kg (297lbs) for 1 rep or 100kg (220lbs) for 11 reps

Squat:
140kg (308lbs) x 3 reps

Deadlift (back has previous injuries):
140 x 5 reps

CURRENT PROTOCOL:
15mg / 0.12ml TC daily via subcutaneous injection

100iu / 0.1ml HCG daily via subcutaneous injection

6.25mg Exemestane every 4 days (1/4 tablet), take on empty stomach with water.

GOAL:
12% BF at around 92kg (202lbs). I want the Physique competitor look with less definition obviously at a higher year round bf% that still has well defined arms, chest, etc.

IF I WERE TO BLAST:
If I wanted to blast for 12 weeks, on Test only (this is what I believe is recommend on the forum for a first cycle) can you please help me answer the following questions:

  1. Should I continue with my daily test cyp injection?

  2. Is there an ideal type of test to use alongside my daily test cyp and how often would you inject? Is Sub Q ok?

  3. Would 300mg extra test be enough, considering I am taking 105mg of cyp already? Should I go for 400mg extra?

  4. Should I increase the amount of Exemestane I am taking every 4 days? Change amount or frequency?

  5. When coming off do a I need any PCT or just go back to my TRT dose?

  6. I am not sure what my bf% is at the moment but it has come down significantly. Should I continue to cut before blasting, considering I only want to do one blast? Is there an ideal body weight of bf% I should strive for before blasting?

  7. Any other advice please?

  8. Will I be able to keep my gains on my TRT regime?

Thank you all very much for the help.

Too soon let your body get used to the trt protocol for a while longer.

Congrats on the wieght loss tho!

Thank you Zeek. I don’t intend to blast right now, I was hoping to get my questions answered so i can plan ahead.

Test c doesn’t need to be injected daily not sure why your doctor even recommended this. But short answer is if your adding 300mg/week just add it to your daily injections if that’s what you want to keep doing.

Yes more test cyp. If sub q is working for you then no need to change altho testosterone was intended for intramuscular injections it probably even says it on vial something like “for IM use only”

Either or your choice probably won’t make a big difference either way

No it will just make going back to your trt protocol more difficult at end of blast

Back to trt dose

Try tk get as lean as possible before the blast then schedule a dexa scan (Google it and locations near you) to get a accurate body fat reading. Bathroom scales and calipers are bullshit in my Opinion

Wait a year before doing a blast and get as lean as possible

Ultimately diet and training post blast will determine this but as long as those stay good yes you will keep gains

Thank you buddy!

Congrats on the weight loss, man. That’s a big accomplishment. I’d say hit 200 and then blast away. But Zeek gave you better advice, I’d follow what he said and you’ll be golden. You really need to be on trt for a while to make sure you’re totally set for any complications and you have a good idea of what to expect from just that.

Looking good buddy! A good friend of mine lost about 75 lbs after getting on TRT and it took about a year for his loose skin to regain some of it’s elasticity and tighten back up. He looks incredible now. Like Zeek said give it some time on TRT to deal with any kinks that may come up and for you to understand how your body handles T.

Thank you @dextermorgan and @iron_yuppie and @zeek1414!

I will follow your advice and give it time to see my body reacts to the TRT. Thanks a bunch
