TRT Round Three, One Week In

My body must adjust to T levels fast and seek the same ratio of hormones. I was good for about four days again and now I’m exactly the same as before treatment. This probably explains why I never did well on shots if my body adjusts that fast (Slow release of the T on shots). It’s not HPTA shutdown either because I was running HCG the week before starting on the new cream Crisler recommends and continued 250IU every three days. It must be E2? Here are a few things I noticed on the cream if you’re thinking of trying it.

  1. I didn’t get the huge libido/mood boost like I did from Androgel. I suppose this has to do with the area of application and size of the area. I think I needed the DHT boost. Function was way improved but libido was still near zero. Morning wood first few days that went away.

  2. The cream works. It kicks in in about three hours and lasts all day. (Although it’s hard for me to tell at the moment because I must be junked up with E2.)

  3. The cream leaves a greasy residue which I really don’t like. It gets on your clothes etc…

  4. I’m giving serious thought to switching to shots next week. I’ve already been there done that but it was with my family Dr and he never ran labs. Yeah 200mg a week for 8 weeks and no labs.

Any suggestions or recommendations fire away. Frustrated.

Same thing happened to me … My E2 went from 24 to 41 after I started HCG and on A-gel. ( Increased A-gel dosage from 2 to 3 packs daily due to poor absorbtion) Actual E2 probably shot up even higher after B/W. I increased my A-dex from 3 drops EOD to 3 drops daily and Feel GREAT again. I will re-check E2 in a couple weeks. But … I really do plan on switching to shots once I find a new Doc to prescribe it. I am not absorbing the A-gel on a consistent basis.

FYI … you can order the E2 test on lef.org for very little $$$, and the results are back in a couple days.

sxracer, That’s a lot of Androgel! If you have to use that much I’d go to shots to. Why would your Dr have a problem with that? I took 1mg of Adex yesterday to front load it and now I’m going to run four drops a day.

I’m actually a little improved already. I guess the initial response I had is a good indicator that I’m on the right path. I’m going to switch back to shots this week just because the stuff is getting on my clothes. Greasy forearms sucks.

Just curious did you get a huge mood improvement on Androgel when you started? That stuff blew me out of my minor depression in three days. I haven’t had that response on the cream or shots. I’m guessing it was from the burst of DHT and them other methods build DHT slowly as T remains elevated.

My current Doc is really a pain management kind of guy, with a side bar of anti-aging products to help pay the bills. He freaked out when I asked to go from Gel to shots. Told me the FDA would take his license, and he’d be homeless for giving me T-Cyp.

Said that with my T within range on gel, shots were not warranted. I explained how much I hate rubbing the stuff all over, and the fact that I had stopped absorbing. ( T levels decreased by 40% while A-gel dosage remaind the same)

I actually had one the BEST overall improvements when I added the HCG. As always, keeping E2 in ck in VERY important. I can tell when it gets too high. And feel like crap when it gets tooo low and held there.

My problem has been the vartiny T levels on the gel due to recent absorbtion issues. Once I get on the shots, with HCG 250iu EOD, i will dial in the E2 on go from there.

Now I need to find a new Doc. I may make the trip to see Dr Crisler if I can not find a Doc locally. Most of the Docs I have called in Florida want to charge lots of $$$$ ofr office vistis ( No insurance accpeted) and will not sgive a straight answer about anything up fornt without collecting $$$$ first.

My biggest question is … will they convert me over to shots from the gel. Crisler states this is no problem on his web site. I have yet to get a verbal from these crooks here in Florida.

Good luck with your program… do your homework, and get it dialed in.

Holy crap… Want to light up your TRT throw in a Proviron a day and wait about a week. WOW!!! Now I see why they give this with TRT in Europe. I’m lite up like a Testosterone Christmas tree and I’m only using the cream with it.

Switching to shots today. I’m going to be a ginnie pig and inject T cyp twice a week subQ, HCG twice a week, 4 drops of Adex a day and 1 Proviron. Everything I’ve read about T subQ sounds real promising. It slows down the release some and E2 conversion is actually lower. In a few of the studies I’ve read they had to lower the T dose due to a more consistent high level of T. Dr Shippen has been administering it that way for a long time and it’s become the norm in Canada. I’ll give it a shot.

Where did you read about the T-cyp and the Sub-Q method ???

Is this with Dr Crisler ??

At the very least, he will get you on his compounded T Gel, which everyone is raving about. No greasy residue, dries immediately, etc.
