I prefer subq. Occasionally you will hit something subq, i think they are blood vessels or somekind of nerve maybe. They seem to mostly be on the left side of mt naval. When hit i can tell right away. There is an alcohol sting which gets worse when I begin pushing the oil. Afterwards its usually a swollen lump i can feel but not see. It is sore for a couple days and usually ends up with a little bruise. Usually get a drop of blood when pulling the needle also.
That isnāt a huge deal to me, I just wanted to avoid hitting major nerves like my sciatic nerve, which I was worried about when I was doing IM injections into my glutes. Rare to happen but if I damage a nerve like that I could get permanent damage and with how frequent I inject, it could just be one bad slip up out of 500 or more times of injections, but thatās all it takes.
