I have been on TRT (injections) for the past 2 months. To start, my test was <150 ng/dL.
I get 150mg shot bi weekly (one every two weeks).
Everyone on this forum keeps telling me it is way way too low. My doc says it is a middle dose and my test was at 660 ng/dL about 1 month into testing so he says we are at a good dose.
Are people on here telling me it is too low because I will be able to get more strength performance out of it (obviously) or because medically, it is too low?
If you feel good on the dose, that’s what matters. 660 ng/dL is a good average level. Going too high brings its own health risks and management difficulties (thickening blood, estrogen conversion) that are a pain to get right. How long after injection was the blood taken? And what ester is it (cypionate, undecaonate, …)?
If cypionate or enanthate, a case may be made for more frequent (e.g. weekly at half that dose) injections to even out fluctuations a little, but only if you don’t feel good on the current schedule. Having said this, a certain amount of fluctuation of T levels may even be a good thing. (Natural T levels in young men fluctuate a lot on a daily basis, suggesting that keeping T constantly high is probably not a good thing.)

Blood test was taken after the 2nd or 3rd injection I can’t remember, and 1 week after that dose, so right in the middle of the dose period.
I do feel a decline when I’m approaching a new dose though, so I hope I can convince him to at least do weekly shots
I have another appointment with him tomorrow. What should I say to him about getting more frequent injections? Because like I said I feel great for the first few days but after week 1 it goes downhill.
I have asked him recently to fill out a TUE form for powerlifting, so I am concerned he is going to think I am just seeking performance enhancing drugs.
Just tell him you are not seeking an increase in dosage, only frequency to even out the highs and lows you feel. Also, tell him it is not feasible to keep making visits to see him and you want to do the injections yourself. That way you control it.
FYI - I felt better on 60mg/week than I did on 100mg/week - so just keep in mind that the 100mg/week is a general recommendation.
I agree that dosages are completely dependent on the person however I think most people on here will recommend a minimum of two injections per week to reduce the peaks and valleys. I personally split 60mg/week into two injections and feel as good as I did when I was doing 100mg/week.
