Before I get into anything I just want to say thank you to anyone who replies.
Background: 28 year old male
Height: 5’10"
Weight: 165
I have been working out/training 3-5 days a week for the last 6 years using programs such as Starting Strength and 5/3/1. I have experienced a good amount of strength increase over that time period but physically I do not look much different so about a year ago I started doing research into TRT (not because I saw some commercial) but because of research online and specifically this website.
I recently got some blood work done and my testosterone level came back at 349ng/dl. My doctor indicates that this is in “normal” range but as I have found by reading different post on this forum the “normal” range is really a bunch of bs and having a testosterone level in the 300’s and experiencing fatigue throughout the day is something I want to fix.
However will I do work full time “in sales” (I know how can I be feeling fatigued when all i am doing during work is running my mouth) I do not have the means to go to some anti aging clinic and my family doctor will not prescribe me TRT.
My questions are 2 fold:
-
I don’t really understand how you can find a family practice doctor that is willing to prescribe you TRT. It’s not like you can call a doctors office and ask if he is willing to give me a testosterone prescription. You have to make an appointment go through all the BS and then he will most likely tell me my levels are within “normal” range. I have a high deductible medical plan and I cant afford to keep on trying different family practice doctors hoping one will help me.

Other than test levels what other levels do I need to get checked and how can I ask a doctor to check them such as (lh, fsh and estradiol)
