TRT Hasn't Worked for 2 Years. Help?

I’ve never taken Cialis personally so I don’t have any experience with it.

It might be worth dropping to see whether you even need it in the first place. I know it’s supposed to have some benefits outside of its intended use, but I think it can also lower BP too much in some people and in general I’m not a fan of using any more meds than I really need to.

I’ve never had a problem with erection quality, but on Prop it’s been as good as when I was a teenager, definitely better than on Cyp. So I would try Prop with nothing else, really give it 6-8 weeks for everything to leave your system and stabilize, and see how you feel

Interesting.

Sure, they get steadier as we age (I think), and with it usually a decrease in libido, which would suggest mother nature wants younger, stronger men mating.

Is that the way “Mother Nature” intended? Or is that the way It is because of all of the crap that our bodies ingest, and come in contact with on a daily basis?

An interesting point to ponder that we’ll never know the answer to, is what do you think the natural T levels of men were thousands of years ago, before all these chemicals were in our foods and water?

Your guess is as good as mine.

Good point. Some fun studies suggest through skeletal records that Homo sapiens experienced a drop in TT levels which allowed for collaboration and society building. Check 'em out. If we didn’t go through this we may still be hunched over the fire and beating each other with clubs and banging iguanas. Oh yeah, nevermind, some of us still are.

Soy boy propaganda? Interesting. I’ll see if I can find the actual papers (I posed them on here some where).

Fascinating world of human evolution. At least I’ve solved the BS claim that in the 70s men were walking around 1500 ng/dl natty. The greener grass hypothesis always out there.

Considering how short life was 1000’s of years ago older men probably did not mate nearly as much as younger, stronger men. Plus, the older men get the more mutations they have and the less healthy children can be. Same for menopause, older healthier women shouldn’t be competing with their daughters for mating.

I wish I knew what my level of T was when I was younger and then would have a good idea what maybe works for me.

I don’t know what my level was at peak after that 300mg shot but when I was at 214 free out of 244 at 10 days later it had to be high Plus, it was way too much for me with the side effects. Personally, I just want stability in feeling again.

I actually caught an error in above so I will correct as I have time with regard to your estimated TT profile after your 300 mg shot. Sorry about that. I used 300 mg/week instead of 300 mg/4 weeks.

Hey tareload,

It was a once a month shot. I do know that the following levels were taken.
10 days after the one 300 mg shot, still 214 out 244 free, total was 755.
14 days after that, free was 17.
It seemed to shot up high and then crash quite hard. I believe the crazy emotions and stuff were from the roller coaster and not tolerating such a high dose.

Okay guys so, going to start today new protocol. Drop everything and complete start from scratch. 105mg Test Prop p/w with daily shots. Drop the AI and HCG.

I am going to set a reminder in 8 weeks to see how I feel and get bloods, and going to try and take mind off it in the meantime and just get on with life and try not to over complicate!

Thanks

@Mattys33 I’ve had no libido for 5 years which was caused by trenbolone.

You seem to be obsessing over test / estro levels when you haven’t assessed other areas such as thyroid and most importantly adrenal function. There’s more to libido than sex hormones.

You need guidance from someone who knows that they’re doing, forget your urologist. You need a good neuro-endocrinologist. I’d recommend Dr Romeo Mariano but he’s not easy to get hold of.

Also, if you suspect that cocaine has damaged your dopamine system you should at least look into PT-141. I believe it can help people with damage caused by cocaine.

Daily is extreme man, but its up to you.

Thank you for your response.

Not so much an issue with libido, more so actual erectile function. I have tested thyroid previously, all seemed okay.

What are the relevant tests for adrenals please?

Thanks

Roscoe - How much are you taking?

test cyp 120mg once per week.

5mg buspirone, three times a day.

Why buspirone? You ever tried wellbutrin?

Many times ive done Wellbutrin. The issue there is that it causes too much increase in Norephidrine, which increased vasoconstriction.

Buspirone works really nicely. I get that MENTAL feeling of wanting sex and being aroused. And the physiological component to do so, is there with the TRT aspect.

IMO, sex drive/libido etc has two separate components: the mental part (correct neurotransmitters) and the hormonal part. The first triggers the second. Either of them being off, and it’s not gonna work.

Do you use any stimulants at all including coffee?

1 cup of coffee per day

Hops are estrogenic. I prefer Pilsner style beer, but some like beer that’s heavily hopped. I recall @dextermorgan suggested a daily beer to a guy with low E2. I’d like a beer or two and a woman to hop on. YMMV.

How about the same dose, subq? Slower release instead of an initial big hit? Maybe every two weeks.
