Knowing what I know know, I have a feeling my increase in SHBG was due more to me beginning intermittent fasting after starting TRT more than anything else.
I’m not IF now and my SHBG at last reading was 27.

What is your TRT protocol?. Did you have high SHBG before?
What is your SHBG, Is it high or low?
It’s always around 19-26 or so.
Somewhat lowish.
Thanks
My SHBG is always between 35 to 57. Is it better for me twice a week shots than EOD?
You have to try for yourself. Mine is 39.9 and I feel best on daily. I’m not in line with a “these folks do better on this injection frequency and those folks do better on that”. There’s so many variables besides SHBG many of which we likely don’t even know about yet. Trial and error is the only way to know
You have to figure it out, I’ve seen many high SHBG men do well on EOD injections, especially hypers-excreters who can’t keep testosterone and estrogen elevated for long.
Do you take HCG and AI?.
No. I started with an AI but after 6 months of being miserable I stopped it. T only until you you are dialed in with the right dose/protocol and then after that point if you want to add hcg or whatever go for it.
You only take Testosterone then. How much are you taking a week?
Correct. 200mg/week. 28.6mg/day daily IM injections in the delts
I see guys on EOD shots increasing their SHBG vs twice a week shots. TRT is a pain in the ass, always trying to find the sweet spot. My provider does once a week shots with AI. And this moron is making money
You would be the one paying the moron lol
Go to a different doc. Once you are dialed in then you aren’t looking for anything (except tail)
I will start with Proviron( masterelone) 50 mg Ed. Is widely prescribed in Europe, it lowers SHBG, increases FT and DHT and doesn’t convert to E2. The only problem is that can lower the good cholesterol
Does that fix things long term or just the duration you are using it?
In Europe people are using it as a TRT all year around. I took it in the past and help me a lot with erections and mood.
@unreal24278 can tell us about using proviron for TRT long term. He’s part medical cyborg. Will be interesting to see if it’s a good choice. I believe it’s very expensive though right?
It is, because I have to buy it overseas. 200$ for 100 25g pills
