Hi guys,
I’m a 53 year old male living in eastern Ottawa and want to go on TRT. I can’t find any such clinics here. Is that just the way it is?

TRT in Canada is not good. Suggest that you talk to pharmacists as they know what docs are prescribing and might refer you. Compounding pharmacies are the best option.
You are in Quebec?

Evaluate your overall thyroid function by checking oral body temperatures as per the thyroid basics sticky. Thyroid hormone fT3 is what gets the job done and it regulates mitochondrial activity, the source of ATP which is the universal currency of cellular energy. This is part of the body’s temperature control loop. This can get messed up if you are iodine deficient. In many countries, you need to be using iodized salt. Other countries add iodine to dairy or bread.
No, I am in Ontario, where Ottawa is. LOL Thank you very much for replying.
Sorry, what is across the river? Never paid that much attention. I left Ontario 20 years ago. Visited there one winter, too cold for me! Was interviewing with NRC, scary place.
Well, it was the City of Hull when you visited but it’s now named Gatineau.
Did you have any luck finding somebody ?
No I haven’t. Are you in Ottawa as well and have some good news? LOL
